Botanical, Soy-Based Hair Remover

Sunday April 20, 2008
If you’ve tried waxing and it’s just too hard on your skin, but you can’t find someone who does the more gentle-to-your-skin sugaring in your area, you may just have another alternative. NuFree, a botanical, soy based hair remover free of any wax, sugar, or honey, was developed for plastic surgeons that needed to remove patient’s hair before surgery.

Sorry, you can't buy a kit and do it yourself, this botanical hair removal system is only available at a NuFree salon or spa. I was able to try it when working at a NuFree spa, here's what I like:
  • You don’t have to prep skin to take out the moisture (like waxing)
  • It goes on thin, so it's is very gentle on skin
  • The product doesn't dry out or stick to the skin like wax
  • You can reapply it over any hairs that didn’t come off (unlike waxing)
  • A product called Finipil is applied right after service which helps keep hair-free area clean, and slow down hair growth
Don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm not against waxing, it's just not compatible with everyone. So it's good to know there are other options.
