Types of Shaving Brushes

Saturday July 4, 2009
shaving brushes, shaving brush, types of shaving brushes Using a shaving brush does more than make you look hot and lather up the cream. It actually helps to lift hair so you can cut hair blunt instead of at an angle which helps avoid ingrown hairs and razor bumps. Lifting the hair also gets you a closer shave, which means longer-lasting smooth skin results.

Shaving brushes aren’t only for men, women are using them to lather up wherever they shave. The Art of Shaving makes a badger hair brush with a long handle for easier use (buy direct). Enter code JULY20 to get 20% off at skinstore.com.

But, there are many types of shaving brushes using real hair to the synthetic kind and a wide range of prices. Our Mens Hair Guide here at About.com helps us out listing the types of shaving brushes.

I’d say that when one buys a shaving brush , a shaving brush stand must be purchased also to keep the brush clean and to let it dry more efficiently.
