I recently put up a blog post asking for no!no reviews, specifically the 8800 series (see profile) that can be used on facial hair because so many people have been asking if the product really works- even my massage therapist. Well thank you readers! We have some in the hair removal forum (read reviews) and would love to have more.
On February 14, 2011 I also emailed the company asking to review their product. I haven't heard anything from them. Now most companies are more than willing to provide a sample of their product for review, because they're very confident in the quality and stand behind the claims of how well it works. I'm not saying that the makers of no!no! don't believe in their product. But it really makes you wonder why they're not emailing me back and sending out a no!no! so we can test it out.
Update: In 2012 we were offered the chance to test out the no!no!, check out the review.

Is good if get the product review from no!no!…
Good Information and quiet valuable too. I have also subscribed the RSS of the website to get regular updates.
I have been using the Nono now for a month, it hurts but just a little bit, it hasn’t cut, burned or dissapeared a SINGLE hair on any place on my body, even when it is the correct length. Oh but it burns my sking and leaves visible cat like scratches and in top of that because the skin is wounded when I put the lotion that you have to put after the Nono, it burns as hell. I emaled them twice to see what could I do. Nobody had the prefessional ethic to answer me, so I came here and published this; that is the truth.
well the first nono i recieved worked good at removing my hair but it came back just as fast . when i used it it always felt like there was still stubble there. I used it every day on my face for about a month and then it died and i had to send for a new one. when i recieved the 2nd one it worked for about 2 months but again i had to use it every day pretty much. then it quit working properly and i had to get another one. i have had the 3rd one now for about 2 weeks and i still see hair on my face but notice that the hair on my neck is pretty much gone and i don’t have to use it on there so much. oh yah after my first nono i only use the larger head on my face cause it seems to work better for me anyways. i do on ocasion get the little burn lines but once you get used to using it properly it isn’t so bad. all in all i am still optomistic that it will eventually work like it does for everyone else since the alternative for me is lots of hair on my face all over but the worst area is my lip and chin where the hair grows like weeds. i would pluck it every day and had red sores from that. i just hope that this one will work for a long time
I’ve been using the NO!NO! 8800 for 6 weeks. It cost me almost £200, which is a huge amount of money for me & I have notice NO difference in hair growth at as yet!On the box it says: NO HAIR! (It hasnt removed or burnt a single hair & i’m still shaving as much as i was before!), NO PAIN!(Have burnt myself numerous times & it has given me rashes), NO CUTS! (Has given me quite a few small cuts), NO INGROWING HAIRS! (I have more ingrowing hairs then when i shaved!)…. I will keep trying but am loosing faith very fast. With all the time i’ve put in, i could have shaved for a whole year!!!
I bought the no no after many promises of it working .I belived it got suckered into bying it after 300.00 dollars later .I used it and it hurt like heck and left many cat like scrashes on my face I went to wk. and I was never so embarresed as every one stared at me wondering what they were looking at i came home looked in the mirrior and saw my face. I thought the burning was because it was my first time. i called back and was told it was the first time they ever heard of this happening. I cant belive that for one moment.
Well, thanks for your honesty, folks. Saw the ad for this product today and thought I had found that perfect birthday present for my daughter who is hard to please but could really use something like this – if it works. I’ll save my money and give it to her instead.
I was thinking of buying this myself. Sounds so good! But I read all the bad reviews on HSN and decided not to. Then I saw it on there again and they were talking about all the great feedback left and how the customers loved it and that it was a “Top Customer Pick” so I was going to take a look again. Now apparently they have changed the item number or something because all those reviews are gone. Think I will stay away from this one unless someone I know personally has used it.
I used the no no on my face and arms for three months. I had little “scratches” on my face as well. Not only did it NOT work, I think the hair on my arms is even thicker. So I’m out $300. If you want to know if you should buy this, I would say, “no! no!”
Unfortunately, the NO!NO! did not work for me. After more than two months of consistent use on arms and legs (5x per week), my hair growth has not diminshed.
I originally saw No!No! and looked for reviews which I found to be a bit more favorable than here. I bought it on “Double your money back” but when I used it for 30 days and it did nothing but burn my skin, definitely not decreasing the hair, I called to send it back. They said I MUST use it for 60 days to get the money back on shipping and “double;” when I returned it after 60 days they had charged me for the item; they finally refunded the purchase and shipping, but then sent my account to a collection agency which has been calling for 2 months now. Apparently the double your money back is for them, not me.
So, I’m just wondering for you guys who have had issues with the NoNo; which model did you use? I’ve read reviews comparing the old model with the new 8800 and everyone seems to like it a lot better.
Beware of fake positive reviews. I did a google search of reviews for this product and the many initial reviews that were at the top of the search results were all glowingly positive reviews. However embedded in each of the reviews was a direct link to buy the product at a discount. Makes for a very biased and fake review.
I received my no no just last night, and couldn’t wait to use it.
I used it on my arm this morning, i didn’t notice any hair removal. My skin feels extremely dry even using the lotion that comes with it. Worst of all i used it on my upper lip and chin, and its like the device burned my skin and is still burning after 24 hours of using it. Do not buy it, i’m not waiting another day to use it, it’s getting shipped out tomorrow!
I think the no no! Is a load ov crap! So much fake advertising ,, fake promises! It’s just a way of conning the public for their mmoney! I hvnt bought the no no! Myself but l I know sumone who has! Leaves u with scratches! Burns! N most
ov all it doesn’t remove or reduce the hair! Not worth it especially the price for it is just stupid!
Been trying for two months on every setting-worthless! Too wide to use successfully on upper lip. Im probably stuck because I think the 60 days are up. Considering disputing with HSN and my credit card company d/t false advertising. Its not about the money, Im just tired of all the misleading promo on useless products.
Thank you all for being honest, I thought it was to good to be true!!! There should be a law against it.
Thanks to all of you for the info. I was about to order the no no hair remover, I happy I did my little homework before throwing away my money on a piece of crop
Noooooooooo!!. I was sooo excited to find this product thinking this was THE ONE……..Thankyou for sparing me the trouble. Can anyone tell me about the Silk’n Sense Epil ? This was my more expensive next option. Seems to have more ligitimate backing from outside sources. Is the old style 8000 series maybe better than the new 8800 no no?
My nono hair didn’t work very well. It takes a lot of time. You have to be extremely patient and it died in a week. I only used it twice!
Thanks everyone. I’m just watching the infomercial now and was intrigued. I was pretty sure it was too good to be true, I’ve been burnt before ordering from infomercials. Now I ALWAYS do my research first, I can’t afford to throw my money away. Obviously I will NOT be ordering this device. I wish there was something like this that DID work. I can’t afford professional treatments. Guess I’ll simply have to continue shaving and waxing. At least I’ve learned to thread my own eyebrows, thanks to a lot of kind people on You Tube. I’ll NEVER go back to tweezing.
Hi All,
I have had some sucess on my upper lip, but the chin area is a nightmare – stubble returns the next day, with no improvement on hair re-growth what so ever.
If anyone ever needs to contact NONO with a problem with their NONO etc, dont waste your time.. they ignore you, wont return your call or emails no matter what. There is no customer service what so ever with this company and im just sorry i spent my hard earned cash with them.
I purchased the new No No – what a No No for me that was! It is totally ineffective, time consuming and way, way over-hyped. Try getting your money back under the 60 day free trial offer – that’s a joke. I send it back recorded delivery after 2 weeks because I was so dissatisfied with it. They first of all said they would refund, then following many phone calls even tried to dispute receiving the item back when I had proof of delivery. Please people don’t be suckered into their fake claims of hair removal – the old and tested ways are the best I’m afraid. This is nohing more than a BIG CON!!!!
One very unhappy, stilly fuzzy and financially strapped individual.
WOW! Thanks so much for the honest review. Saved me some money, for sure! I’ll just keep my waxing appointments and hope you gals all get your $$$ back. Thanks again!
I used it on my face. It burned and left scratches. The lotion was NOT soothing at all. I finally got relief from ice packs on my face. Now I am trying to return it. They will just keep draging their feet about the return and then the 60 days will expire. I am going to contact my credit card co and see if they can reverse the charges. Wish I would have checked this web site FIRST.
Thank you all so much for your reviews, you have all saved me from making a big mistake, with money I really cant afford. It just looks so amazing on the TV and if you do suffer from a lot of hair like me, its almost irrestiable. Thank you once again.
Thank you all! I would soooo love this to work but sounds like a loser. I’ll hope for something to come along that really does work. Laser was not effective either.
Hi everyone. I purchased the new model of nono 1.5 months ago. Its not as bad actually. I dont use it on my face much, rather my arms and legs.
I think the burning n scratches result from sliding the machine with too much pressure on ur skin, or too frequently in the same place or both. i’ve had the little cat scratch , but sooo rare only like a couple of times. the little burns, i’ve had very minor almost every single time i used it, but very minor and i know its a place that i try to run over with the nono like 5 times. [recommended 3 times max?]
Does it work?
Well, i do see less hair regrowth than before however the thickness is the same. n it does not grow back as fast as it does if i use a razor, but not as slowly as i thought either.
I only use it twice a week. It does require loads of patience. It does not remove all hair instantly cuz its not a razor.
After the 2 weeks, i actually called to return it n stuff cuz i thought it wasnt working, but the girl told me its not gona shave ur hair like an electric razor [like it implies in their promo ads] n to use other hair removing products along with it to get rid of ALL of the hair.
Also, she said that it took her 6 months to get rid of all of her hair.
So I decided to give it another try, I am beg. to see results….
im hoping to benefit from the money i invested in it and will use it for a bit longer before giving up….
I am sooooo glad I read all of your valuable comments. When it sounds too good to be true, it normally is. Thanks you, L
Thanks guys, I was about to buy it for myself. As I saw the ad on TV. The product seemed as if this was the answer to hair removal. Your reviews have really helped me from not buying it & saving me £200. My hubby will be happy… ;o)
I have been using the NONO for 2 months now. Not as often as suggested. I have never been burned but have scratched myself due to pushing to hard. I have had good results on my peach fuzz on my face, my legs have been the best. I hardly have any hair left except by my knees, It seems to be harder to use if there are curves. I did have a problem with the smaller attachment in that it never worked. So far I like the nono.
Thank you all so much – I’m so glad that I bothered to do a little research for no!no! reviews that weren’t linked to the sales site, before I purchased their product.
Like many of you, I’m desperate for a hair reduction system that allows me remove my body and facial hair without involving someone else…what a bloody shame that it’s a complete rip off. Not to mention the disappointment you must all be feeling.
Sounds like I’ll have have to trundle my way back to the Beauty Salon….phooey….
Thanks for all the comments. I was going to ask my husband to buy one, but I’ll think I’ll save the money.
Well, I’m a guy and just saw the “info”-mercial and was curious why there was no price advertised (first clue). Then I thought why didn’t they show a close up of the product in use? I mean they show men and women using it in the ad, but nothing but pictures to show its effectiveness (second clue), so thinkning this may be good for my wife, I though I would look for some reviews on it and hopefully find the price (WAY too expensive IMO) and learn if it’s any good. Well, I have to say Thanks! to all who have left reviews, not one single positive review (third and final clue). Thank you. Gotta love the internet…I learned all this in less time than it took to watch the AD! ALl the best to you who learn from the reviews.
I’m wondering why the No No was given good reviews on shows like “The Doctors” and “the Today Show” and magazines like “In Style” – why are they endorsing it if it doesn’t work?
Piece of crab don’t waste your money
Hi,
I got mine in the mail two weeks ago. I purchased a second as a X-mas gift at the same time. So far anyway, I agree with Pam. I am very busy (like all of us) and have only been using it three times or four times a week, but have had good results on my legs and arms.
It is not a razor and does not act like one, but I can already see and feel a difference. It immediately burns hair off, not 100% at once, but pretty dramatic difference. Guess will see about the regrowth……
All of you who are having a hard time getting a refund, regardless of the reason NEED to be reporting that to the BBB.
Thanks for your reviews, I was going to buy one even though I cant afford it. I have decided not to buy it thanks!
I purchased the NoNo 6 weeks ago and have used it twice a week as the manufacturers suggested with fantastic results! Yes, it does take consistency and time for results but since they tell you this up front, I am surprised by those folks who wrote in with a negative comment after only using it a couple of times.
I just finished using it and felt compelled to report that after 6 weeks I am definitely seeing less hair growth. I bought this product primarily for my face (chin and upper lip) but also starting using it on my legs. I much prefer using it on my face than waxing (no pain and more effective) and it’s rewarding to see less hair every time I use it. On your legs, it does not leave a smooth finish like a razor, so I wouldn’t advise starting the treatment in summer, but since I’m seeing less re-growth now , I’m hoping most or all of the leg hair will be gone by the time short season rolls back around.
I am planning tom purchase a NoNo for my daughter for Christmas. Yes, they are not inexpensive, but it was definitely worth the price to me.
Thank you all for your honest reviews! You all just saved me money and aggravation!!! While sitting here in my living room watching their commercial and wondering whether it really worked or not, I Googled for reviews and here I am, and very thankful for the web! Thank you all and thank you About.com!!! I’m “Bookmarking” this site for sure!!!
I tried this product; my skin burned, it seemed to die out and then come alive again; it left a stubble on my chin and my skin quite frankly a wreck – a terrible product and one, I opinion, makes false claims. I sent mine back and after a gread deal of emailing was refunded my monies. Dont buy.
thanks for the reviews you guys!
like others, i’d been flirting with buying this thing. so glad I found this site, I suspected it was too good to be true.
in the past, I’d bought an electrolysis machine… it’s got this needle you have to poke into the pores. it was horrible… def don’t recommend that, either.
separately, if any of you have moderate chin hair, don’t pluck it. shaving is the way to go. plucking it will release little andogen stress chemicals, makes it grow back stronger. lol, i am so happy I’m not the only hairy lady with my secret beard running around
Thanks for making this feedback available to the general public! I was tempted by this product, but there is no way I’m going to waste my money now that I’ve read these reviews.
Bought No No in April and here we are in Nov., and I have given up on it. I used 3-4 X a week for over 3 months and the results were minimal and still had to shave in between. At first it seemed to work on peach fuzz on my face but now I am not even seeing results there. The bit of hair it would remove would just grow back as quickly and it would constantly stall out and would need restarting. The company never responds back to you so don’t waste time emailing.
thanks to all for your comments this was going to be my christmas present to my self am so glad T read all your revies I will not waste my time or my money.
I bought the NONO hair remover and acne treater in September tried it for 39 days was not satisfied and called on 102411 to return they practically begged me to keep it and offered a $90 off if I continued to use it, so I obliged and still was not happy. I called today 11/28/11 to return it and they said SORRY you are past the 60 day guarantee by 11 days and tried to give me more instructions on how to use it. Seriously if it worked and wasn’t a scam, I would have wanted to keep it. SAY NONO to the NONO, they are only out for the buck not customer satisfaction!!!!!!
I just bought it and after first use I’m very disappointed.
I mean my hair is pretty thick being a guy (using it on my chest) and I was told to be pretty much disappointed from the lady of the store I bought it from for the first while.
So ill stick with it for awhile and see.
But quite literally even on its maximum setting it didn’t burn off a single hair from my chest. Not one. Maybe my hair is too short atm (it is stubbly as recommended)? But I am quite frustrated. How am I supposed to see if the hair will regrow “less thick” if it doesn’t even remove the hair in the first place?
Should I grow my hair out to like 5-6mm before using it? Am I to expect it to only “cut” it to like stumble length instead of a clean shave?
Any men out there that have tried it had success please let me know your stories.
thanks.
I’m glad I found these reviews. There is a one page ad. in an Australian women’s magazine this week which caught my eye about the nono. The ad. about it sounds really good – I was thinking of buying one but I won’t now! Thanks for all the informative comments on this page.
Another “beauty” product which promises so much and delivers so little. And yet I still hope. I thought our laws (whether you are in US, Canada, England or Australia) were meant to prevent this kind of scam. I would complain to the TV stations and/or advertising standards council, but since I haven’t purchased the product because of the comments here, I don’t really have a valid complaint. Maybe someone who had purchased could get these people off the air and protect others. I was initially hopeful that this device really worked, but I noticed that the “reviews” I was reading were just veiled advertising. It took about 4 pages of Google results before I got to this page. Clearly much of the inflated price is spent on making sure those fake reviews swamp the searches by consumers who are checking out the product.
Many thanks to those who shared.
I received the nono as a gift in August. It is supposed to slow down the hair re-growth process after a time (I think it was about 60 days), so I did as instructed for 60 days. I used the nono on one leg and a standard razor on the other leg during that time. At the end of the 60 days, there was no change in the speed of regrowth on the leg that I used the nono on compared to the leg that I used the razor on.
Also, I used the nono on my face using the small tip as instructed and I received slight burns across my upper lip. It was impossible to use it smoothly across the contours of my lip. I looked pretty funny with burn stripes on my mouth that looked like wrinkles at first glance. It was very embarrassing.
I told my mother how poorly the nono performed and it was then that she told me she had paid about $300 for it! I was shocked! That is way too much to pay for it even if it DID work, but under the circumstances, it was just plain robbery!
Thank you all for your reviews – I was going to buy a no no and thought this was too good to be true AND it is apparently. Thank you. X
Yeah and the “hidden cost” for the product AFTER the 60 days is $284.80 after S&H.
Has anyone been double charged or not received full refund after returning the nono? I will be returning the one I purchased and am concerned after reading some comments.
Thank you all. Wanted it to work. Was willing to buy, even though it was more than I could afford. maybe one day something will work. Fingers crossed..
I just received my No!No! Today as a Christmas present, and to be honest with you, it’s not pain free at all.
The first time I used it, although I had no burns or scratches, the lotion made my skin irritated and burn like crazy. As for the smell, they say you can cover it up, trust me you can’t. I tried febreeze air fresheners because they say they remove odors and all I could smell was the burnt hair.
The hair removal on my legs and arms was quite effective though, it seemed to remove it quite easily. I like the idea of the product because it eliminates the need to shave, which I hate doing.
I hope I desensitize to it because it really makes everything easier.
Although this is my first time actually using the product myself, I tested it out in stores about 2 months ago, and I still had limited hair growth in that one spot when I got mine.
I guess all I really have to say is that I think this product, if used right, really deserves a chance.
I bought the NONO for my wife in Nov as an early Christmas present so that we both could try it for the 60 day triple guarantee money back trial period. The order date was 8 Nov, I will be calling them today to return the product as it is not as effective as the product is advertised. My wife has been using on her legs and I have been using it on my stomach and chest. We have had no burns or scratches, but we both have stubble even after using it more than 45 days. Yes it has a burnt smell but no hair is crystalized as they claim, even if you use the buffing pad, the hair stubble is still there. I agree with some of the other posters that the first several sites are simply shortcuts to the NONO web site offering the money back trial period. I would love to see a close up of the hair being crystalized and then buffed off. Perhaps if you had very very fine hair it would work for you. If you are curious, try it and see for yourself, if it works keep it, if not return it. I plan on leaving more reveiws so more people can read it, it is how I buy items. It didn’t work for us and I will be returning it.
Do not buy this product! It is a complete waste of time and money. Who ever says this product is worth buying cannot be serious. I am hugely disappointed, I had great expectations.
what better way to prove to you that we evolved from apes. think about it! years later everyone especially women running around with all that hair groth where it shouldn’t be! the joke will be on all you who believe all you see on tv!!!!!!!
I bought the no no using the payment plan. They had absolutely NO NO problem taking the money from my bank account, but when I tried to contact them…..crickets chirping!! The hairs that it actually DID remove were stubbly, just like the day or two after you shave with a razor. I have very fine hair. I’m blonde and have used an epilator quite a bit! So, it’s basically a $300 CRAPPY razor. I’m NOT happy, and it seems as though their entire customer service dept. is non existent! If you’re thinking about buying one, DON’T DO IT!!!! Unless you have a pesky $300 just laying around that is getting in your way, and if that’s the case, I’ll give you my mailing address!
got this product 2 weeks ago, so far it does exactly what the infomercial says. i used it on neck and shoulders, completly crystalized hair, and been a week, not much stubble. i love it, painless and quick. only been 2 weeks, but highly recommend
Valuable information. Lucky me I discovered your website by accident, and I am stunned why this twist of fate did not happened in advance! I bookmarked it.
I am so glad that I read all the negative feedbacks , I was getting ready to charge my credit card, I am so frustrated with my facial hair.. even my kids notice it… Its embarrasing, if anyone knows what can I use at least to keep hair off for a few weeks please let me know. I never leave my house without my tweezers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To reduce regrowth of facial hair you can get a perscription (in Canada) for “Vaniqa”. It is an expensive cream that will slow (not prevent) hair regrowth. I have been using it for years as it gives me a longer time between hair removal but you can not stop using it or you go back to same regrowth. I am thinking about buying the No No to supplement the cream but unsure after reading these reviews. I do not want to let the hair on my face (which is coarse and dark) grow to try the NoNo, does anyone know if it works on very short hair?
I was thinking to buy the no no but now i just dont know any more because the only reason for me is for my facial hair to buy the no no.
I almost purchased this product after watching the infomercial, it looks so easy and quick. However these post made me glad I havent. I have already purchased the “Tria” and I will let you girls know how that works. A little more expensive but worth it if it works, we’ll see!
My experiences with No!No!
I have been using it 2-3 times a week for 4 weeks now, with no visible improvement in any terms. It does not even come close to a close shave as with razors, and in fact you can spend 45 minutes running it up and down your legs, everywhich way (to go against the hair grain, as instructed), and you will still have stubble.
Forget going over your knees, it will just burn your skin.
Oh, and the smell of burning hair?? Super sexy.
They give you 4 “heads”, and my first one wore out within 3 weeks, leaving me to using start using the smaller heads designed for your face, or use the 2nd (and last) larger head.
This product really shouldn’t be used by any woman who actually wants someone to feel soft, smooth, hairless skin, because it won’t deliver by any means.
Not happy! I ordered the No No from their site. Typed in my name and address and clicked continue. A new page popped up that had a picture of the product on the left with the price of $104 and CC info on the right. $104 (with S$H) was a great deal so I finished my order. After pages and pages of ‘special offers’ (all of which I said no to) my order was confirmed to the tune of $270.
I was upset and sent them an e-mail that night asking to cancel my order or give me the advertised $104. Nothing.
The next day I sent them another e-mail say to cancel my order all together. Nothing.
So I called today. First time the phone rang once and then I was hung up on. Called again and even after 2 e-mails they had still sent out my No No this morning!
I realize I will get a full refund once I get it and return it, but I’m so ticked at the lack of response to my e-mails and the false advertising I’m not even going to use it once I get it, it’s going right back.
Even if this product does work I’m still a poor collage student and can’t afford to spend $270 on anything other then books.
Just saw HSN presentation & almost got sucked in again! & funny thing the negative reviews on HSN website (actually ALL the reviews) are gone……………………how’d they do that slick move?? Now a few positive comments were left here: obviously fakes-they are way too specific describing their neg experience & explaining it basically as user error. The fake adolescent slang in one is hysterical. Read them side by side & you will get what I mean!! Evidently this company is putting all their money into covering up their fraud! The google results are crazy-it is so obvious. How sad!! Thank goodness I found this site!!
Oh no no! I just typed a long comment that is super pertinent………………………..where did it go go??!!
Woops! It was there after all! I am getting soooo mad thinking about the $$$$ this company is pouring in to their fraud! I can only imagine the profit they make on these pieces of junk!
I have had 2 years of laser hair removal which did nothing and cost me $1600. I have used the no no for 2 weeks on my face and have seen more results than the 2 years of laser treatment. No burns or scratches that everyone is talking about. I think people are pushing down to hard, trying to make it shave the hair. It doesn’t remove the hair like a electrical razor would. I still have to shave my face but I have already seen a reduction in hair growth.
This NoNo burns some hair and some not, and you have to be careful when you slide it on your skin because it opens you skin like tiny cuts. I think that you have to practice on your legs first before you venture to use it on you face. Be extremely careful on you face, specially the chin, keep Polysporil handy
. Also, the smell of burnt hair is deep. I’m going to see if it works like they claimed.
I was apprehensive about them mentioning: ” MEN FACIAL HAIR
REMOVEL ” As a black man my facial hair is coarse….So this
little NO NO thing might be a challenge. Thank you reviewers
for you honest opinions and trial results. You have saved my money and somebody’s life……For…I just can’t afford to give $300 away.
Yours Truly

I never intended on buying one after all of the terrible reviews I have read, however I did get one as a gift, so I decided to try it. It had Zero effect on reducing my body hair. This item is clearly marketed with phoney hype. My advice to anyone considering this product is, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Not only does it fail to deliver as promised, but trying to work with these folks to get a refund, is a nightmare. They will do anything to avoid honoring their return policy. I know people are really looking for a solution, and may only seek reviews that would justify buying one, but hold off on this one, because the product is crap. Beware, because there are a number of so called review sites loaded with glowing reviews on this product. They are hoaxes aimed at selling this product.
I got the no!no! to try for a review. It was fine the first few times I used it and did an OK job so I didn’t say anything bad about it. I went to use it on my face the other day, and like the other women on here — it hurt in some areas and I thought “oh it really must be doing its job there!!!”. Little did I know it was slicing half-inch scratches into my face. I have a line of about 12 that go from the bottom of my lower lip (on the cheek side) to my jawline. I’m really embarassed and upset that this happened.
I saw that someone here asked about the silk n sense epil.
If you’re looking for hair removal that’s more permanent than shaving, doesn’t require as much hair grow-out as waxing and doesn’t cost as much as laser, an epilator is the way to go. I never shave under my arms anymore. I just use it — it removes hair when it’s like only 2 days grown. And it removes it for at least 3 days solidly, and the hair grows back fine (since it pulls it by the root), so you dont’ have to do it again as quickly. The one I have really shouldn’t be used on your face, BTW, but I use it under my arms, my legs, and bikini line (that hurts a lot, though).
It really hurts the first time you do it, but now I do it all the time and it doesn’t hurt at all. If you’re used to plucking a million times it’s the same thing. The results are 100% worth it – i sound like a walking advert for epilators but they really are the best choice.
My experience after I have been using the NoNo now for a month, it hurts but just a little bit, it hasn’t cut, burned or removed a SINGLE hair on any place on my body, even when it is the correct length. Oh but it does burns and scars my skin and leaves visible cat like scratches as the wire from the tips are pulled in to my skin by the hair. On top of all that because the skin is wounded when I put the lotion that you have to put after the NoNo, it burns. I do not recommend this product nor will I use it again. Do not buy! It is not worth your hard earned money…

I body build and the nono works for me, at least when it works. The rubber band on the unit consistantly gives out. When I talk to customer service, I am always asked if I am using the unit properly. I feel that customer service is trying to do their best at blaming the poor workmanship on the user. Honestly, the company needs to fix this flaw. Nobody, however ever brings up this issue. It just can’t be that I am the only one that has this problem. I know that other are having this problem as well. Imagine the frustration, and then having to wait forever for the replacement unit to arrive. Also, I have had to pay to ship back the unit back.
You need to be careful about how genuine reviews of this product are. If you look on the web there are loads of reviews saying how wonderful the product is, however if you delve deeper you will find that even though the web sites look original and independent, they actually originate from the same company. To give you 2 examples (of many), http://www.beautybasin.com and www remedyreviewer.com look like unrelated companies, both reviewing the same product and giving it rave reviews, but the domain names belong to the same company. As mentioned above, these are just 2 of many many more, and all that is happening is that the company is trying to kid you into thinking that everyone loves this product. If that was really the case, why would they have to resort into trying to dupe people?
After much research, I bought a nono last weekend. When I used the facial attachment it kept “jumping” out and burning my skin. Also the setting kept moving from 1 bar to 3 bars ie the highest setting. The result is that I don’t yet have regrowth on my chin or upper lip, but I am walking around with small red scratch marks on my face. I don’t know which is more embarrassing, facial hair or red scratches over my face.
I bought a nono last week and It is excellent at the removal of body hair surpassed my expectations! However I have had the opposite results when it comes to my facial hair. I m from Italy and have it has always been a challenge to remove the hair from my upper lip and seeing the result on my body I was truly hopeful. Unfortunately when it has come to my face it is a train wreck!l Not only do I too have the burn scabs and marks on my cheek but it has made the hair on my upper lip thicker with out removing it.
HAVE BEEN USING NONO FOR 3 MONTHS NOW ON MY CHIN AND UPPER LIP. UNFORTUNATELY, ALL HAIRS ARE STILL ACCOUNTED FOR. HAVE THE GLIDE WORKING PERFECTLY. HAQVE NO BURNS OR SCRATCHES TO REPORT, BUT I JUST WANT TO SEE A FEW CHIN HAIRS LESS AFTER 3 MONTHS OF LOYAL USE. STILL HAVE TO SHAVE BECAUSE THE BUFFER DOES NOT DO ANYTHING FOR MY STIFF HAIR. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR MONEY FOR THIS PIECE OF CRAP.

Worthless! I tried the No!No! on my arm first and found that it might have removed a few hairs, but mostly just frizzled a lot of the rest. Even after using the buffing pad it looked as if I had done nothing to my arms.
It took me a few swipes to get the hang of the speed and pressure to use, so I only had a couple of little scratch/burn marks.
Fortunately, I bought it through HSN so I didn’t have to go through the refund nightmare others have reported with direct purchases.
Back to good ol’ Nair and razors for me.
NONo means do not buy this product ! I received burns and scratches and tried to return it and was convinced to try again! Guess what! I am now out $300 and still have the same hair problems! how disappointing !! this product does not work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought 3 of these one for me, my mom and niece. I tried it out before giving it to them, It simply does not work. I called HSN and they told me I was impatient not to wait the 60 days. People dont want results in 60 days. They are charging me the shipping fee, so EVERYONE OUT THERE-DO NOT BUY THE NO NO AND ESPECIALLY DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HSN. REPS WERE VERY RUDE.
Thank you everyone for your honest reviews. I was just about to buy this product since the last time I looked at reviews everything seemed great (I checked it out some time ago and then spent months saving money to buy it). I’m so glad I found this page. Not sure why I decided to check reviews again, maybe it all seemed too good to be true. Seems you have saved me a lot of money and hassle. I’m sorry for those of you who have had such terrible experiences. I wish you luck getting your money back. Guess it’s back to the drawing board for me…gotta find something to get rid of this hair.
Don’t know what to make of it, I’ve spent thousands on laser etc for my face with no results. I have heard if your hair is from hormones nothing will work. I am still hoping it will work, I have used it for 2 months now with no difference, maybe I was using it wrong, but it must be doing its job when I can smell the hair burning, I need this to work as facial hair on a woman is unsightly and mine is dark, course and lots of it.
Do not buy the nono. It does not work the way they make it seem. You are better off shaving and waxing. The smell of burning hair is horrible. Also they tell you that you will be refunded the full amount plus the shipping. When you return the product they come out with that you have to pay both shipping cost. Do not waste your time or money.
I purchased this product approximately five weeks ago. It doesn’t work as well as I had hoped however I am in no way disappointed. I have had a mustache for as long as I can remember. Not a great thing for a woman to have. I have to use the nono every other day on the thicker dark hair on my upper lip but the finer hair is gone. If I use plenty of “good” lotion my lip feels smooth! So if your looking for an instant hair remover this isnt for you, but if youd like for your children not to remind you that you have a mustache and be reminded of it everytime you look in the mirror I say TRY IT!
I was so happy when I receive my no no device yesterday. I could not wait to try it this morning. I must say i’m so disappointed, I correctly following all the information given. I use it on my face and it did not remove any hair, instead it burn the side of my lip which hurts for hours. Forget about he lotion that they say you must use after treatment, it has no use. The whole package will be leaving my house immediately. Don’t waste your money, if I had done my homework I wouldn’t have gotten caught in this.
I received my No No 8800 a few days ago. I have used it 3 times so far and a problem popped up already. The screen shows the Thermicon tip status such as 3 bars – new, 2 bars – used, 1 bar old, no bar – need to replace. Now after just 2 treatments the Thermicon tip bar is down to 1, which means old. Has anyone come across this problem so far? Is it just a problem with the screen or is there any underlying issue with the device? Anyone can comment?
Effectiveness wise not much happened just yet. I bought mine via ebay so no 60 day trial for me, but still hopeful. I only use it for my legs. Some people complained about the smell. The best solution for that is to open the windows, not masking it by air fresheners:)
I bought the NONO 8800 and have used it steady according to instruction for 8 months, on my mustache and chin hair.
There is no sign of less hair, in fact I have increased hair growth and noticeable stubble within the day.
This NONO does not work as advertised.
I want to return the unit and get my money back.
It was an expensive waste of money.
The entire thing is a scam.. You don’t realize that there are 3 payments until it is too late to cancel the order. In order for you to get them to pay the shipping to return it you have to wait 6 weeks which means they debit your account one more time. I think the company and their business practices are shady and bad business.
Thank goodness I did my research on the No! No! hair removal system. It is very expensive and I cannot afford to waste my money on something that doesn’t work. Thanks everyone for saving me from another bad expenditure!
What is the refund number to get your money back?
I have used every marketed product that promises
results . No No is not worth the money or time. I had a car wreck when I was 16 causing damage to my adrenal glands causing my hormones to be out of wack…I could grow a full beard in a week. I have spent 100.00s on treatments professional et gizmos that promise results. All I want is a peace of mind et confidence to be able to where no makeup. Disappointed again
I am a dark brunette, 50+, with dark, coarse hairs along my jaw line, chin and under chin, & a few finer ones on my upper lip. Have been using the NoNo 8800 for about 6 months. It’s effect has been EXTREMELY LIMITED, but I keep persevering, since the stupid thing cost $300. Took a couple of weeks to get it to have any effect whatsoever. 1. Doesn’t work properly over the changing contours & textures of the chin, jaw & underchin area. Sort of “chatters” as the light engages & disengages depending on the area of contact over bone & looser skin areas. That’s when it’s causing those little “cat scratch” burns. It is necessary to stretch the skin uncomfortably taut to get the slow, smooth motion necessary to get it to function at all. 2. Only the highest setting has any effect whatsoever on the coarser hairs – even then, it’s not consistent. Often, after multiple passes, the hair remains. Trying again one or two days later still doesn’t work on those coarse hairs. 3. In order to “buff the crystalized hairs off” you again have to hold the skin taught and then apply friction with the little sanding pad- both things that you don’t want to do with 50 something chin skin – causes changes to the texture. I would have sent it back for a refund after 60 days, but I don’t trust that process – figured I’d get scammed, so decided to keep the stupid thing and keep trying. I think it’s probably having some effect on very fine hairs about which I was not concerned. As for the dark, coarse ones there has been NO CHANGE. I now have visible breakdown of the skin texture in the area, not to mention little scars from the tiny cut-like burns, and also, those coarse hairs that occasionally do get singed off, tend to come back as ingrowns which have to be excavated with sharp tweezers. Thanks for this forum – I notice that almost nothing negative gets shown on the web. I suspect some powerful “marketing” has been employed in order to disappear the truth from the internet. . .
I bought the no no hoping it would do what the commercial says I have pcos and unfortunately have hair and places girls shouldn’t have hair I was extremely excited and tried this for almost 2 months I probably would of had better luck running a lighter up and down my leg it does burn my hair off but it leaves the stubble n you have to buff it off I returned this product which is not an easy task it took me calling 3 times to finally get my return label and after
I got an email saying they had received my shipment they took the last payment out of my account I’ve had no problems with the customer service people I do realize it’s not their fault however I am still waiting for my refund for those people out there who are looking for a miracle hair removal do not waste your time or money on this product
I just got one as a gift (I would NEVER spend $300 on something like this). It took me a few tries, and actually taking the time to read the CDROM manual, to get it right, but it works really well on my legs. I’m a brunette with very pale skin, so I basically have to shave my glow-in-the-dark legs everyday. This thing got nearly every hair and my legs feel pretty great after I buffed & moisturized them. It took about 1.5x as long as it would have to shave. I thought it was fairly quick. What I haven’t been having any success with is my facial hair. For some reason I can’t get it to glide properly. I’ve never burned myself, or ended up with cat scratches. Using it guarantees me a few minutes privacy, though – which might be worth $300! – because the smell of burning hair sends my kids screaming from the room! Ahh, peace, quiet and smooth legs!
A big thank you to everyone that has taken time to post their experiences with the NO NO. This is a lot of money for most of us to spend on anything. It is great to have a source that can save me a lot of frustration, disappointment and financial hardship because of others’ forthcoming & honesty.
It worked wonders for me, I don’t know what anyone here is talking about.
I used it 3 times a week for about 2 months and the hair regrowth was noticeably thinner.
It didn’t burn my skin or anything and I started using it on the highest setting. Then again I’ve never had sensitive skin.
I think a lot of people are just impatient and using it incorrectly. I didn’t even buy the lotion I use my own and at first it left a little stubble but after the hair stops growing back it’s hardly noticeable anymore.
I think what people don’t realize is that new hair is always going to grow on different parts of the body no matter what. It’s not a miracle, just a time saving tool.
Negative review plus lots of negative comments, and yet right at the top of this very page is an advertisment for NONO. I’ve decided that I wish to try it for myself, if it works then great and if not then I will just return it, after all nothing ventured then nothing gained.
Thanks everyone – just saved me wasting my money on something that I thought my partner were use as an alternative to shaving/plucking. Good luck to all those trying to get their money back.
This is the ONE and ONLY site I’ve found online that doesn’t lead directly back to a sales pitch for the product. Not sure how the company has managed it, but they seem to have been very successful at keeping reviews like these ones out of circulation.
I notice that, even here, there are comments posted saying that those of us who have found that the product does not work, must be pressing too hard; being impatient for results; not reading the instructions, etc. I can assure you that, in my case, none of that is true. I very carefully read all instructions, referred to the CD that came with the product, referred to advice on the product website, was very patient with trying to perfect the technique. I did not give up after 3 months. I continue trying, even now after 6 months.
But despite all that diligence and perseverance, stiff, black hairs continue to grow, as thick and fast as ever. See my earlier review of April 12, 2012. Don’t waste your money!
Thanks to everybody who contributed AUTHENTIC reviews of their experiences.
Thanks for the comments, I was just about to enter my credit card and press send when I found this site……I just saved myself $300.00 I know someone who sister-in-law says she loves it but I havent talked to her personally so…….until I do I wont be buying this product
I am a retailer that carries this product. It is returned with customers unsatisfied almost 80% of the time. Every reason from.. It takes too long, Chin and facial burns, the smell , Chargers stop working, the wire in the tips sometimes burn out too soon, and often it simply takes way too long to get results.
I hate selling it, and as much as we tell people to lower their expectations and understand it takes a long time and to be extra careful on their faces, it still gets returned 8 times out of ten. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT unless it is from Radiency themselves. Don’t bury us in returns in the stores.
The nono did not work for me I’m not a patient personbut I followed the
instructions did what the instructions said 20 min. each time, the hair
did go away for about 2 days then came back a lot darker, and I could not get it to glide right under the chin it was very arkward.
I returned the nono before the 60 days was up have not seen credit
on bill yet
My wife has ordered a few things over the years. 100% of the time it had always need in a scam of some degree. After reading the reviews on the No No, this is near the front the pack of garbage. I have adopted the attitude that if it is advertised on television, I stay away. If it is a product that works, someone you know will let you know. TV is an entertainment media. I don’t take anything serious from it.
I have bought No! No ! for my daughter as a present. When she used it it would overheat to a dagerous level. When she took it back to be replaced, staff at The Shaver Shop had it ”tested” and refused to replace it saying it was working properly. staff was sooo rude!
She used it again and it overheated again , she had to drop it out of her hand or she was going to get burned.
This time shop girl agreed to return the No! No! to manufacturer to get fixed. As we havent heard fromThe Shop after eight weeks I rang them back to enqure about it.
Two days leter we got a phone call to pick up you No! No! the manufacturer said there was nothing wrong with it.
I wrote a letter asking to be sent manufacturer report before picking up the product i new was dangerous or to receive a ful refund.i was going to contact Consumer Affairs. I have received a full refund
the funny thing was that the manager still insisted there was nothing wrong with it but hasn’t been able to provide the report i asked for.
He was as rude as his staff was.
I will not buy the product since it took me so long to find the “real” complaints. This company has so many fake “complaint” sites on the web that it tells me the product must be pretty bad. Thanks so much for all your REAL comments…you saved me the $300 plus aggravation!!
Beware of the return shipping “scam”. If you call to get an RMA before you’ve had the product for 45 days, they will not pay your return shipping. Of course they didn’t tell me this until after they gave me an RMA. I said I’d wait the extra 5 days to ship the product (I had it 40 days) and they said it’s based on the RMA date. What a stupid policy! I told the customer service person on the phone I should have known better – If it sounds too good to be true..it probably is!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Thank you for your comments, and for saving countless people from buying this awful product! PLEASE READ! If you have sustained injury to your skin that resulted in bleeding, pain or a trip to the emergency room please do yourself and others a favor, take pictures, get at least one witness and CALL A LAWYER! It would be best to visit a dermatologist or physician so they can verify that you have dermal injury present. Remember…there are young girls possibly younger then 12 that receive this product as a gift/present. From the comments I have read…more then a few of you would have a legitimate, class action lawsuit in which you would receive compensation for your injury. I am also a law student and can say this with confidence. There are others, maybe children, at risk here please help yourself and others! remember…take many pictures, have someone present who can testify you used the product as advised, and visit a physician( if your have been injured…and do not have evidence I suggest you meet with a lawyer anyways…you never know how many others are in your same situation!) please consider this. I teared up a little reading about the injuries and embarrassment…this is why I went to law school to defend innocent people who are being hurt and abused like this!
i have suffered many years with hair on my chin. I,too, pluck it everyday and i’m left with huge red bumps. i am checking out as many reviews as I can about the NO-NO before i buy it. There seems to be an equal amount of positive reviews to negative.I think I will eventually take the chance and buy one and hope that I’m one of the lucky ones
I also wanted to briefly mention…to those of you struggling to get your product returned and endorsed as PROMISED by the company…please save all the emails and ignored phone calls( telephone records). When filing a lawsuit, it is extremely beneficial to show the court the poor quality and character of the company…trust me it is the icing on the cake! When the court can see evidence of physical injury and refusal to reimburse the product as promised, it will be an easy case!
I can not believe this… It doesn’t take any hair away. so much for the smooth.
I tried the no no. I am returning it. Im not waiting for the 45 days either. I had to let my hair grow so it was long enough to use the no no. Then when using it, it never got rid of the hair. Is singed the tips and burned my skin. For a few days I had long wide red lines down my legs from where it burned me. Plus it stung when I took showers. It does not work and too expensive. I cant believe it was nominated for anything. They had to have wriiten their own reviews cuz this thing is a painful piece of junk. I also see where ppl are having trouble with getting their money refunded. I told them I want my refund within a reasonable amount of time or they will be getting my dr bill and the bill for the burn cream I had to use. We will see how long I have to wait.
I purchased my NoNo a month ago, and at first I agreed it was a waste of money. However, after persevering, my lip has never looked better. As for my chin, it had really coarse stubble ( I could grow a better beard than my husband.) I used it with no visible effect for two weeks, got fed up, and ripped everything out with tweezers. Much to my surprise, nothing has come back yet. I’m keeping my fingers crossed, but so far I’m very pleased with it.
No NO hair removal is a BIG JOKE. I bought this product sometime in October 2011 and has been using it just stated-twice weekly. It is June 2012 and trust me when i say that i have not seen any results. I used to use it specifically for my chin and neck areas being that I am a more hairy in those parts than most women. In March, in it seemed that the product was not working as it became extremely difficult to get the product to glide on my skin. I called the company only to be told that I had exceeded my 60day guaranty and so would have to buy a replacement head. I was also told by the cust serv rep i spoke with that the head that comes with the product at time of purchase would only last for a certain period. Why would I want to spend money purchasing more products for an item that has not worked for me thus far. HOW AWFUL…!!!! I didn’t say I wanted my money back but that the product should be exchanged and unfortunately that seems to be an impossible task for the company. Guess the way forward is to go get a professional laser hair removal.
NO NO IS A BIG JOKE AND AVOID IT….ITS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.
I’m sure the product works as it says but if you don’t like the smell of burning hair, don’t purchase. Also when you try to return it, they don’t pay return shipping and then you have to purchase a tracking number. I bought it for my granddaughter and she refused to use it after trying it twice. I returned it with a cost to me.
I thought this was the answer to all my hairy problems – but apart from being burnt it made no difference and I am left feeling bitterly disappointed. I have contacted my credit card company who will be hopefully obtaining a refund for me.
I was considering buying one. Chin hair is my problem – uggg. So sorry to hear that NoNo isn’t the answer. Someone really should look at the huge demand here and invent something that really works. (or make straggly facial hair in style – we could start a new fashion).
Ordered the nono online. Used it for 3 months as recommended on my face. My facial hair has now tripled. My husband makes fun of me now and asks me if I would like to borrow his razor. I got refunded but had to call them many times. Does not work! Wish I could sue them.
No is the worst product for hair removal. My wife tried it for a month and got nowhere with it. We threw the piece of crap out. Do not buy this piece of junk. Really bad.
I’ve been using nono for about a month and can already see a difference. I’m reading all these terrible reviews and I’m wondering if they received defected items. If that’s the case, it’s awful that the company is not willing to replace the item. I’ve seen a huge difference! It’s true that it doesn’t work like a razor, but less hair is growing back. I used to get my under arms done professionally, and the results with the nono are not equivalent to that but it does work. It takes a bit longer to get the same results. You can’t expect a $200 item to perform the same as a laser hair removal system done by professionals who charge at least $75 a session and requires a minimum of 8 sessions. Nono is working fine for me =)
I am an African American woman. And let me tell you….. Hair removal products dont really work on my skin. Infomercials Exagerate and LIE so do your research. I did my research before purchasing this item and learned that this isnt a HAIR REMOVAL SYSTEM. Its a Hair treatment that you would use along with your normal everyday shaving regimen. Well I only bought this product with the sole intention of using it on my face however; i did try it on my arms and legs and it seemed to work. Many African American women complained that it didnt work anywhere so it really baffled me. Im in no rush to see ultimate results. I will wait out the 60 days and see if there are results. If there isnt then i will surely return it. So far everything is working. It takes about 7 to 8 strokes in the same section and then i use that BUFFER like there is no tomorrow, LOL. What i have noticed with the buffer is that after the hairs has been burnt, the buffer desolves/desintigrates the remaining hairs. So basically when you run the NO NO 3 to 8 times in that same area the hair is burned and can easily be buffed off. I noticed it burned the top hairs first, so i buffed and then ran it over again and buffed again and the hairs were gone. It requires patience and WORK, Its a hair treatment but i do think we can buy cheaper hair treatment creams that can reduce the growth as well.
It’s a waste of money and I wish I never got it. Returning it has cause me so much hassle too!
First I was impressed and yes I did use it consistantly for 2 months then I got fed up because I was unhappy with the results. The hair was all gone up left the bumpy affect you get after shaving. I’d much rather stick to waxing and go through the pain . Atleast then my legs would look and feel better.
I used the No!No! religiously for the past 3 months. It seems to do not a bad job on the legs and upper lip, but for the neck and chin it is terrible. I spend about 10 minutes every morning and every evening going over the hair on my neck (under teh chin) and on the chin. I can smell that it burns a little sometimes – perhaps the finer hair. But I can go over the spot where there’s 1 hair 10 times and all I do is burn my skin and leave scratches/scabs on it. I also emailed the company a picture and my questions asking why it’s not working but got no reply. I”ve given up!! Will continue to use on my legs and upper lip but the hair keeps coming back, but at least it does disappear a little.
I ordered the no! no! Only because it came with a 100% money back grantee if it didn’t work. Well I started using it on the day i received it. I have really fast growing black hair on my legs (back within 15 hours). The no! no! never even removed/burned any of my hair. When I called to return it, i was given the run a round, I had not used it for 45 days (42 days) so they would not pay for the return shipping. So I paid it, and was only giving half of my money back. It was bad it didn’t work, it was worse when I didn’t get my money back.
I bought the No!No! a while ago. It burns off fine hairs but does nothing for courser ones. I think it also caused some broken blood vessels on my face. When I called to return it, I was told to give it more time. Of course, that meant I kept it too long to return it.
I bought the No!No!Hair a year ago now, specifically for my face. I would stop shaving Thursday, then use it twice a day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday before shaving again on Monday morning. So, I have a varying range of growth over the three days. I have always used it at the highest power/strength level. I have noticeably less hair growth on my cheeks, and some areas of my neck. But I have seen no change in the hair thickness or growth on the chin and mustache areas. I do experience some redness on treated areas for a couple of hours. By now, I should practically have no facial hair left. Tat is not the case.
I had problems with my No No very soon after receiving it. I called them and was told to send the product plus charger back to them and they would replace it. That was 3 months ago and I have heard nothing from them, nor is there any answer from them via email or telephone. I think that the product has major reliability problems … and I haven’t received my money back either!
I used my No no about 6 times and it just died. I tried changing the thermicon tips, and recharging it, still does not work. cost me nearly £200 got 6 uses out of it. I tried emailing there customer services got no reply, so I called them they said my no no cannot be refunded or exchanged as I am longer in the 60 day guarantee and if it doesnt work when it did before I must have damaged it (charming). I can guarantee I did not damage it. It was never dropped and I always put it away in the case that came with it. £200 down the drain.
This product scares me. I got it this week and tried it on my chin where I had been getting little hairs recently. Well I got a burn or what looked like a long ‘scratch’ about the same length as the filament on the NoNo, so I googled ‘NONO burns’ and came up with the comment below where the person describes what looks like a cat scratch. That is exactly what mine looks like too.
In addition, I cannot get the light to stay on all the time and the product does not get all the hairs. It made my skin really hurt. I am going to try it on my legs next. If it does no better I am sending it back. I originally just wanted it for my chin. The PDF on the product says to follow the contour of the face but the nono won’t stay on the whole time no matter how I hold it. The product burns the hair off and there is no proof it is getting beneath the skin and going to the root. I am scared that I am burning little fine hairs that don’t need removal and I’m going to end up with a BEARD. Have had hairs burned on my arms from getting too close to a campfire so I know what heat and fire can do do in terms of hair regrowth.
I don’t think i am going to use this product any longer on my face. I think the company needs to make it very clear that this is NOT laser removal but burning.
Once you get the product it tells you that you’ll smell burning hair and that you’ll have to buff to get the left over burn hair off your skin.
I would never have bought it if I had known that all I would be doing was burning my skin with a wire filament that heats up.
I wonder if this product has been approved by the FDA?
It says nothing like this on the literature.
It probably depends on your skin and hair type. I was shocked by these reviews. I do have the original model of the product though, purchased from sephora 4 years ago and still in good as new working condition (I have used up and replaced many attachment heads). I have never gotten a scratch or noticeable burn on my skin but I have felt heat from the machine, and it smells strongly of burning popcorn. Which doesnt make it not worth it for me at all. I have seen significant decrease in hair, hair is thinner and takes longer to grow back and is completely gone in certain patches. I use it on arms and legs. I used the product once a month for two years but then slowed to once everything three months because it smelled bad and I live in a dorm now. However, because of the great results I saw from the two years I’m trying to go back to it for another two.
I have dark, thick hair and olivey skin that is resilient to sun burns and ive never had a dry skin problem. Also, for sure don’t push hard, it works best and the heads last longest when u just barely glide it over.
But maybe the original is just better than the second model. Maybe they’ll have a third and it will have the added strength of the second without the side effects. They should not be false advertising though
I’m grateful y’all showed me not to buy the second model as an “upgrade” and I hope you get your money back $$
Wow! I’m wishing I read these comments before I ordered my NoNo! I’ve used it twice on my upper lip and have a lot of burns and those little cuts. I look worse now that I do with my stash! Now I just have to wait 38 more days and I can send it back!!!
It is an awful product, thought I would buy it and try it on my chin, what a waste of money. I tried calling the company and they won’t refund any of my money, will never buy anything from an inframercial again. WHAT A TERRIBLE PRODUCT, NEVER PURCHASE IT!!!!!
Anyone else keep getting the red light, no matter the pressure or speed you use? The thing has to be turned off and turned back on the clear it. Maybe I am holding it wrong? ANy tips?
I have not purchased this product, but when I looked into the design of the no no, I found it is essentially like running a toaster over your skin.
This is not for me. My aunt has a problem with facial hair and asked me to check this product out for her. I am thankful of the web to able to research various sites for her because, she is the mother that I no longer have. And to save her any type of money is a blessing. So, to ALL that told the truth about this product.I THANK YOU FOR HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess after reading these reviews and others on other websites, I am so glad I didn’t order this. Some people have said it is working for them, but they have to spend time using it every day, so to me, that is not doing what it says. If after even a few months you still have to use it every day, then it isn’t working! If it was doing what it says, you shouldn’t have to do it more than maybe once a week. I will stick with the epilator I bought which works so good, I only have to use it about once a week, or or less.
The very crux of your writing while sounding agreeable in the beginning, did
not work well with me personally after some time. Someplace throughout the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer unfortunately just for a
while. I nevertheless have got a problem with your leaps in logic and
one might do nicely to help fill in all those breaks. When you actually can
accomplish that, I could definitely be impressed.
I bought the NoNo hair removal system about three weeks ago. When I was on the website to purchase it I accidentally clicked the wrong button when ordering and could not edit my purchase. When I called the company they told me there was nothing they could do at that time. They told me that I would have to wait until I received the order and then send it back. When I asked if they would send a shipping label they told me I had to pay for the shipping! They wouldn’t cancel my order by phone and then wouldn’t pay for the shipping. I still have not been refunded my money either! Total scam.
I bought the nono for almost $300.00 trusting it did what the sellers claimed. THE NONO DID NOT WORK FOR REMOVING MY FACIAL HAIR !!!!!!!! I called the company advise line 3 times, and they advised that I should continue shaving or plucking until the unit redused the hair amount. I realized later that they just wanted a delayed response from me to get past the warrenty period. I used the nono correctly and often, but it still did not remove the hair well, or reduce the quantity even over a 5 month time frame. I really put in the effort to give it a chance to work for me. I feel strongly that this product is a total scam. It does NOT do what it claims, and you will be throwing your money in the trash if you buy one. A total waste of my hard earned cash. I give it a 0 out of 5.

Please trust me do not waste your money on this. I have been using it for 50 days now my hair keeps growing back. I was able to return it no problem there. Keep the300 and just go to a professional.
Got nono for men as a gift. What a scam. You might as well use a soldering iron to remove your hair. This thing is useless and can be quite painful.
So, like all of you, I decided to try the no!no! (model 8800) in attempts to have less hair, and do this process of hair removal less frequently. I understood it wouldn’t “remove” the hair- (it does/doesn’t), but reduce the hair. I have had the product since mid-May (10 weeks now) and these are my honest results.
Let me first just say that I am of Mediterranean decent with fairly pale olive skin, and dark body hair. I am an avid waxer, and have been for over 15 years (in my late 30′s). I have been shaving my legs/armpits for convenience/time for just as long. As far as I know, my hair growth isn’t caused by anything “hormonal”.
This is what I’ve notice so far:
1: People need to READ the instruction well before starting this process. Please understand how to use the machine properly prior to use because it could be “dangerous”. Burns are real if you don’t hold it properly. If you are one of those people who throw caution to the wind, you are not going to love this.
2: It does reduce the hair in certain areas, after a prolonged use of the product. Got a spare hour every other day? Then this is for you. It does take a long time to see reduction, and you still have to wax/shave/pluck in the meantime.
3. Hair that responds well is fine to med in texture. I think people with very coarse hair will be extremely disappointed in this product.
4. Places that are naturally taught are going to respond better (arms, legs if not shave prior).
5. Hair that grows back is finer but is BLUNT in appearance- think like a lighter, finer version as if you had shaved. Hmmm… they don’t tell you that in the infomercial.
And these are my results:
A: A finer, but still just as coarse regrowth on my legs (where I have shaved prior to using the no!no!).
B: Less regrowth on my arms but now the hair grows back “finer, but stubblier” (where I used to wax- stubble is finer than original hair, but without color).
C. Same thing with my mustache- finer, but stubblier hair growth (same as arms). This is something that I find a tad bit horrifying because I never had “stubble” from waxing. The stray hairs on my chin haven’t grown back at all though.
D: No effect whatsoever on my armpit hair.
I wouldn’t even go there with my bikini line. Just don’t do it.
Is this product a waste of money? Well, yes and no. It will EVENTUALLY reduced your hair growth where you haven’t got excessive coarse hair. If your hair is like this, then this product is a waste of money. If you have finer (female hair growth) on your arms and legs, then it might be worth a shot if it won’t break your budget. I don’t really love the effects on my facial hair and would recommend people to keep waxing instead of using the no!no!. Even though my hairs are finer and come back less often, when they do grow in, the hairs are blunt and give a “stubble”* appearance. Not feminine in my books. I also don’t think that this would be suitable for men’s facial hair.
I would think that a hair reducing cream (like Vaniqa that you can get with a presciption) would work as effectively as this product without the burning. And probably better!
*Note* When I say stubble, I don’t mean like a razor stubble. When the hair is burnt off, it is only burnt to the surface of the skin. When it grows back it has a blunt appearance, similar to shaving. The actual hair is finer than before, and sometimes without color (but not always).
It took a while to find this site and I am so glad I did. I have sensitive skin so I know it is not for me. Thank You!
I had a few light hairs on my chin and had done electrolysis for a year but it didn’t seem to remove the hair.I was up late and watched the nono commercial and it sounded perfect for what I needed.
I received it at he beginning of may and used it for over a week, the hair seemed to be coming back thicker so I called the company, and was told by the lady that answered the phone I was holding it wrong and to hold it on an angle.Well I have now been left with a very stubbly chin full of ingrown hairs,I’m devastated and don’t quite know what to do.I want people to read this and under no circumstances buy this the whole thing is making me quite I’ll.If anyone has any ideas of other ways to remove this stubble tat feels awful please help!
Worst Product, if you are a guy dont even bother. It takes hours to get any hair off your body and it grows back fast. Plus if you try to return it within in 61 days or 91 days you will not get your money back you have to send it back in plenty of time. So i am stuck with this terrible product and no place to complain too. I would never never ever recommend this product to anyone. It isnt worth it just get waxed and shave money to get Laser Hair Removal. How they show you how it works on TV doesnt even work close to that you really have to press down on your skin and go over extremely slow so if you have a good amount it will never work.
Just dont waste your time a total rip OFF!!!!!
Like many of you, I saw the commerical for No-No and considered buying it. I had no idea it was so expensive or that it was not effective (how awful that it burns your skin)! Thanks to all of you for saving me time, trouble and money!
Well I’m glad I didn’t purchase this product, nothing but negative feedback.
I did consider buying the NO NO, but thankfully a customer told me about her sister’s bad experience with it – namely the seared hair. I googled NO NO complaints to see if there were any nightmares out there and lo and behold! I’m so glad I found this site. I’m sorry for the pain and suffering everyone’s had to go through with the product not working and with the horrible customer service. Really, the BBB should ban companies like these from Canada and other countries. Companies should sell us products that actually work, not hurt us and treat us like bugs when we call to complain or want our money back.
I, Like many found my google search to bring up obviously false testimonials that no no works. This site appears to bring out the truth that this is an expensive and disappointing gimmick. I was stationed in Turkey where they give men a hair cut and shave, followed by burning the hair very quickly with a common lighter in the nose and ears. Shocks most Americans. Then they use thread twisted and held between two hands and roll it over the hairs on the neck. Somehow the hair gets caught in the twisted string and is plucked out so quickly it didn’t look like it hurt. Then they give a neck and head massage followed by the finale of lemon scented alcohol cologn(?). If you have been there they offer the same stuff to you as you leave every Restauraunt to clean your hands. My long point is that burning the hair off is a very old but temporary practice. BUT tell me WHY even this site displays ADVERTISING TO BUY NO NO?? That’s a kick back as bad as the false testimonials. They get paid for every person that opens this site. How does that make you feel? There is no end to how money is made off this scam. Am I the only one noticing this? This site has no integrity. I’m sure by posting and giving my email I’m going to see lots of spam tomorrow!!!!!!!!
I bought the No-No in January of this year at the Showcase Store in Ontario and purchased Showcase 3 year extended warranty. When the roller ball kept jumping because of the little rubber thing on it, I took it back and was thrilled that they replaced the whole unit. It continued working OK till just last week when the red light would come on and not go out, every time I tried to use it. Being glad that I bought the extended warranty, I tried to return it for another one and was told that if I got one replacement warranty unit, that my warranty is null and void. They wouldn’t even honour the manufactures one year warranty, let alone their 3 year extended warranty that I paid for. So now after approximately 7 months of use, I have no guarantee at all. What good is Showcases’s extended warranty, if they won’t honour what you pay for. I was fairly pleased with my No-No, but it did take up a lot of time and doesn’t clear off all the hair and it seems to just keep coming back again. I wish the product would last more than a couple of months, before it breaks down and I am more upset with Showcase stores in Canada for not standing behind their extended warranty or even honouring the one year product warranty. I was not told about this when I purchased the product or their extended warranty. Make sure you get a written contract if you buy anything from Showcase stores in Canada and read it carefully before you purchase it or anything from their stores.
I bodybuild and therefore excessive body hair is not an option…The nono
seems to be working somewhat…The rubber band on the unit, however, is a pain in the neck…It continuously expands and loosens after repeated regular use, making the unit inoperable…I have been fortunate to get the unit replaced on 3 straight occasions, but this is becoming a continuous problem…On one occasion, the associate helping me made a remark that perhaps I was too rough with the unit; I replied that I was more gentle the the people using it on the infomercials…I informed the associate that this was one serious flaw withing the unit design & that the rubber band should be done away with completely; it doesn’t work…You however, never see this problem being brought out; I know that this is happening to everyone; I just can’t be the only one experiencing this…
This is my advice after using the nono for 1 day in all areas and on all settings: TRY it! Life is too short to spend days reading complaints that may or may not be valid for you. Commit to your course and preserver until you achieve your goal. If the nono doesn’t work on its own right away combine it with your existing routine until you make it work!
The one year warranty is common for technology. 60 day money back guarantee not so much… so try it! If on the off chance it is one of those things that works for you it will be worth the risk.
Also, I would like to say – buff buff buff and it works best after a long hot shower!
Hope this helps!
This product is an absolute waste of money. If I could give it zero stars, I would. It doesn’t work well at all. It takes several applications over the skin to remove hair and even then, it doesn’t get all of the hair. The smell is overpoweringly gross and I still have to shave my legs afterwards. Absolutely not worth the exorbitant cost! It’s inconvenient to use, hard to hold and tends to “stutter” over my skin, missing hairs and causing me to have to go over and over the same area, with terrible results. I’m sending it back today and am going back to waxing! Oh, and a word to the wise — don’t try to send it back before the minimum 45 day trial period is up, or you have to cover the cost of shipping it back yourself. I learned that the hard way!
I am in skin care and was expecting a product that had some similarity in results to that of laser or waxing. WRONG! This product literally just singes the top layer of hair then you “buff” aka sand down the burnt hair, which is not a sexy smell. On the legs this literally takes hours to do and then you have stubble the very next day. I am not waiting for them to pull any more money out of my account I am closing it and will also contact the BBB. The only reason they want you to try it for the full 45-60 days is because then they have all your payments. Laser may be more expensive but it WORKS and waxing is cheap and fast and it WORKS. NO NO Is not cheap, is not fast and does NOT WORK. What a shame!
I tried No-No and on the very first try I noticed a big reduction in hair on my arms. Now to see how long it takes to grow back.So far I am pretty happy with this product.
This is the best product for your mother in law.
Just make sure that they don’t use it in your house, or you will smell the stinch of burning hair all over.
I think this device was made in the CIA laboratories for torturing the terrorists.
I purchased the NoNo and found it to be useless right out of the box. Way to expensive and I listed it under life experiences to be forgotten about.
way overpriced, if you try to return before 45 days they give run around after they say try more than they tell you a date but if you call after that date they say its after 60 days so no refunds a real scam called 3 times trying to return 4th time they say over 60 days if you work hard for your money don’t waste it , they use legal loophples and stall tactics worst purchase I’ve made in my 62years
This was such a waste of money! They defintely rip alot of people of hundreds of dollars. I had back surgery and knee surgery and could not get in position to work on my legs for that long. I am 66 years young. They say they will refunf part of my money but we will see!
I haven’t owned a No No for very long and I’ve only used it on my under-arms so I can’t say anything about wether it eventually works or if it works well on other parts of the body but I can tell you this:
Today I decided to use my epilator (the “weedwhacker”) because I had been using the No No for several days without so much as ONE hair coming out and I needed to get rid of it fast. after epilating half of one underarm I felt a horrible burning sensation and had to stop immediately. I’m used to the normal kind of hair-plucking pain and that wasn’t it. This was something far worse. I immediately susspected the No No because the last time I used it, it had stung me several times due to the moisture under my skin (which is normal for under-arms!!!), and I realized that instead of frying the hairs it had been frying my flesh!!! (And no, I DIDN’T use it after showering or working out)
I then had to use my mothers hair removing cream (which I did not enjoy) and I made the mistake of putting my arm down and the cream got on the sensitive part and burned like the SEVEN FIRES OF HELL until I frantically scraped it off (and it still burns now that I’m done!).
SHORT STORY: DON’T EVER, EVER, EVER, USE No No ON YOUR UNDER ARMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for reading.
I received NoNo as a gift. I didn’t use it right away because I was nervous to use it on my face, and the instructions say your hair has to be 1-3mm long before using it. In order to do that I have to Not Shave for a few days (on my legs – in order to test it). That is a near impossibility for me. but I finally bit the bullet – grew my hair!!! And sat down for the glorious day that I would see my hair just go away for ever.
Hmmmmm. It wasn’t happening. Am I using it right? I called a friend who has one – she coached me through it. I got the nerve and put it on my face. Back over the same hair about 30 times (really I didn’t count). Maybe I got it? Nope I had to pluke the little buggers out anyway. Next day – Burns! Come On – this seems to be a common problem. Perhaps their instructions should take into account the vigilant person who will go after a hair with passion, and warn them! But that warning would be an admission that the product doesn’t remove the hair in 2 or 3 swipes, as advertised.
Perhaps they should say this is for peach fuss problems only; but that would give them only 1/4 the market share.
Three days later cracks from the burns. Tried again on other spots. Bottom line there is still a stubble. There are burns. It takes soooooooo very long. The skin is not smooth (that’s a biggie). The bummer is I didn’t sit down to actually use this thing for the first time until right at the 60 day point – so – refund? We shall see.
What a disappointment. Somebody – Please invent the solution. Meanwhile – NoNo – No Va!
Money down the drain. Not a good thing. Alsmost as bad as going to work with burns on your lip.
Good day.
I was just about to buy this product!!! Thank you everyone for your reviews!! How do these companies get away with charging so much money for a product that doesn’t work? I am really sick of getting burned for products that don’t do what they say they can do. Thanks!
I have used the no no for about 3 months. I need to use it every day not just 3 times a week, and I do not have dark or thick hair. it has not worked like it said it would. Is there any improvement I am not sure yet. I use it on my face for a few dark hairs, and they have all grown back. I don’t think my facial hair is any worse then it was, but it sure did not work as they advertized. I detest lies of all sorts, and companies that promise more then they can deliver. They also sent me the nono without my final consent, and I got stuck with the bill. So… it was as far as I am concerned a lesson on this over promising products. Best to wait until you can get reviews. I tried to get reviews before and couldn’t find any.
Hope this helps someone.
Hi, I am in the Uk I have had this product for 4 weeks and i’m very disappointed, for the same reasons as above it does not remove the hair i keep going over and over the same spot and it does nothing – I apparently have 60 days to return it for a refund but I can’t find any information about how to do this? does anyone know what to do bin the UK to return the NONO?
Thanks
Thank you so much for the honest comments, just saved me the time and money!!!
be careful when you order, if you change your mind too bad, you can”t even cancel they will send the product and it will cost you at the post office.
Man, I wish I would have read this site before I purchased my 8800. I was so hoping that it would get rid of my stubborn facial hairs. I didn’t even care about my legs or underarms. I am ticking the days away until I can return it according to their policy. I hope I do not run into any problems when I do return it; it was a total splurge that ended up being a total disappointment. I wonder how long it will take to get my money back. Worse, I signed up for the monthly replacement heads and cream and cannot find a way to stop them from coming…
I purchased the 8800 NO NO about 18 months ago and was offered the 60 day trial period. I first was very disappointed with the product and wanted to return it until I realized that I was over the 60 day return period so I had no choice but to keep it. Since I paid 270 dollars for the product, I continued to use it every other day dispite the horrible hair burning smell. I used the product on my face because I had facial hair on my side burns, upper lip, chin, and cheeks, so I really needed the help. After using the product for nearly a year, I no longer have facial hair on my side burns, upper lip, and cheeks. I still have a hard time with the chin area and I occassional get whiskers on my right cheek every now and then. I will continue using this product with the hope of having a completely hair free face… So I believe this product is in no way a quick fix, it takes at least a year to see results.. I use to burn myself but later realized that I was pressing too hard on the product which caused the small burns… I will continue to use the product until it no longer works and I am still using the first attachment even after 18 months of use. I think the product is worth a try if you have patience and don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on laser treatments at a spa….Good Luck!!
Do not, I repeat do not waste your time and money on the No No. The customer service is horrible and the product is a complete and total piece of junk. It only worked for about three weeks and then did not function properly after that. They tried to tell me that it was user error but the new tip they sent only lasted a week. Then they do not tell you that the free shipping only applies after you have had this thing for 45 to 60 days. Why do I want to hold on to this piece of junk any longer than I have to because it is just not working. So I guess I have to eat the return shipping I just hope they follow through with the rest of the supposed money back promise. So far, they have not followed through with any promise you see on the internet or TV. DO NOT BUT THE NO NO!
i have been using this gor about 3 to4 weeks now it iis okay yes it leaves stubbles on the face the solution does burn i have to use it everyday or it goes back fast buffing pad does goodbut really i thought it would better than you did advertise it. I know it takes awhile for things to work. At least i fogot it does leave scratches on your face i do what it says. My ratiing on this is okay but not as great as i thought it would be
‘ We are so confident that you’ll love your no!no! Hair device that if after using it for at least 45 days & no more than 60 days and you are not satisfied then we will ‘
SO FAR I’VE READ
YOU HAVE TO KEEP IT FOR 45, ONLY THEN WILL THEY SEND YOU THE SHIPPING LABEL SO YOU DONT PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING
DO NOT WAIT FOR THE 60 DAY MARK , THAT’S TOO LATE
HARASS THEM TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK, DON’T FALL FOR ANYTHING THEY SAY ABOUT MAKING IT WORK FOR YOU.
DO NOT BUY its a con, burns, scratches, basically not one iota of a difference in hair removal, in fact I,d say it made my leg hair feel more stubbly. Useless device, designed to make you poorer whilst they get richer. I am disgusted that this can go on. COME ON EVERYONE GET ON THE WEB AND FIGHT BACK, REVIEW THE NO NO EVERYWHERE YOU CAN AND STOP THIS.
Ok so here it is in a nut shell,,,” it don’t work ” all it did to my daughter’s face was burn and dry the Hell out of her face. bad bad product.
Don’t waste your money on No No. Yeah it removed my surface hair (just like shaving or depilatories), but the claims that No No kills off the roots are, in my experience, not true. Thought I’d test No No on my legs before going for more sensitive areas, and also wanted to compare to sugaring (I’ve never tried waxing). So I No No’d one leg and sugared the other for a month. Results: No No was quick, easy and painless (tho stinky), but I had to do it every day or 2 as I always had stubble. Sugaring was time-consuming and messy, and no question it’s not exactly pleasant to rip the hair out by the roots; but I only had to do it once and that leg is still remarkably smooth even after 30 days. Conclusion: I’ll “stick” to sugaring my legs, and pass on No No for my face et al, instead enduring sugaring or waxing ie/ short term pain for long term gain.
Soooooooooooo happy I read all the comments on the No No product, I was going to use it on my face and I have definately decided against it.
Thank you
I do accept as true with all of the ideas you have introduced for your
post. They’re very convincing and can definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are very brief for novices. May you please lengthen them a bit from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.
I used this product for over 60 days and it was adequate. Then it started the burn my skin and it pinched me twice. The customer service line’s suggestions did NOT fix the problem. And the company has the worst customer service, for returns, I’ve EVER seen.
i got my nono a few days ago it burned and smelled bad and after
i sent it back i did not get all my money back customer service mayed like i did not send all the product ,and to me that is a nono this product is not as thay say and it hurts,my husband hated the way it smelled even
after a shower you can smell the berned hair
i bought the no no as i am producing a lot of testosterone due to being menopausal i was told by my doctor there is nothing i can do, so i saw the ad for this miracle product and decided to try it for my face and other parts of my body, i used it for over a month, the smell is awful and it did little to take any hairs off, i was told by no no customer service to keep trying and a month later still nothing, the only thing i really liked were the buffer pads, other than that i sent mine back and got half of my money refunded, if something seems to good to be true – it normally is -!
I was going to get this for Christmas glad i read this first. Thank you and is it just me but the positive comments on here are around the same length and all are very similarly put…… suspicious !!!!
(170) Adele —–To return in the UK call 08445718289 to get a RMA number. I had no problems in returning mine and was refunded within 2 weeks. The customer service number and return address should be on the bottom of your delivery note which you will need.
Thanks for posting your reviews. Thought I might have found the perfect Christmas gift but was skeptical and thought I’d loom for reviews. Every review sight I found all rated it very poorly. Don’t know how they are still
selling it.
this product DOES NOT work – complete rip off!! AVOID AVOID AVOID
just trying to save you money!!!
I am shocked to read all these negative reviews of the nono! I bought mine about 5 months ago and I love it! At 1st I wasn’t getting results so I called an spoke with a customer service rep who listened over the phone as I used it on my rm… he told me he was hearing a skipping sound as if it were jumping across my arm which it was. He explained it is supposed to be a constant sound and a gliding motion on the skin and my problem was in the pressure I used. I worked with it a while longer on my arms and got it right and I love it! The hair is removed as soon as it glides past it and of course there is more hair the next day since we have so very many follicles growing at different rates. At this point I barely have any hair on my legs, arms and bakinni area and greatly reduced on my lip and chin areas! I would say if people could relax and practice a little bit the results would be much better!!
Yes it works. but it does take work. the legs take alot of patience and i find the need to do it almost everyday since hairgrows at different times. and the finer the hair the longer it seems to need to be. i have had it a month and the large blade is about worn out. for underarms i seem to just get skipping noise so i need my husband to do it for me. the main reason i bought this was for the awful hair growing from chin/neck. seems around the time i turned 40 ( 43 now) man hair wanted to grow. since that was area always seen, i was using everything almost everyday to not see it. for nothing else but this area i would give the no no 4 stars so far. i really am seeing such a difference. i am doing this area about every 4th day now. which is wonderful. I use the small tip. it doesnt hurt me at all . i was weary to use the cream as i tend to be allergic to fragrances but have started using it this week and so far so good. i would have to say for any unwanted facial hair, this is perfect. i am still on the fence using for legs as it is very time consuming. and i could see burning through the tips pretty fast. i ordered the pink one from HSN.
I have been using the 8800 for about 8 weeks, once/twice /week on legs, bikini, face. I have never gotten any scratches but I did burn my upper lip a litte bit from over using it on that area once but it wasn’t a big deal. I have about 20 little coarse hairs on my chin and though they are still growing in they are not as course as when I used to pluck them. I have plucked them in between no no treatments and notice some have what looks like root attached. I never had roots come out from just plucking before the no no. Although it doesn’t seem to burn the hairs completely, the buffing makes the skin smooth and I notice the bikini line doesn’t itch when it grows back, like when you shave. I can’t say it has reduced hair re-growth to-date but I have not experienced one in-grown hair since using it. I am somewhat happy with it, but feel it isn’t working to the potential of what was claimed…so far.
I was going to buy a No No but I will save my money. I was always told that if you sell something there has to be an element of truth in it’s ability to do the job. I have seen very little evidence of that, I do feel the advertising of the product leaves a lot to be desired.
i would like to take the time to thank everyone who took the time to post their experiences with the no-no, i was on the phone about to order the no-no when i stumbled upon this site…so just wanted to say thank you for putting the awareness about the truth of this product and saving people
like me…..;)
Thank you all so much for your reviews which have saved me, along with many other I’m sure, from wasting my time and money. Hope you get yours back!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. IT IS ANOTHER RIP OFF FROM AMERICA.
I brought the 8800 8 weeks ago and have used it on a small amount of coarse upper lip and chin hair. I have used it on alternate days following the instructions to the letter. There has been no change in the hairs appearance AT ALL, the hair growth in both areas has actually increased, noticeably.
I have been told by the manufacturer to keep on using it as the “hair grows at different times”. I am fully au fait with the hair growth cycle and if I used this daily for the next 5 years it will make not a jot of difference.
I am posting this so that others have a fully informed choice before spending money on an expensive gadget that will not live up to the manufacturers over exagerated claims. The actresses who “spin” this item should all get an oscar.
Thing is dangerous, i used it on my toe hairs and 3 weeks in, my eybrows fell off…….
THANK YOU ALL so much for saving me the time, trouble, pain and expense! I am so glad I did my research first and found this site and now I will NOT purchase this item. I would like to share with all of you that SERIOUS SKIN CARE (Jennifer Flaven) on HSN – has a LAZER HAIR REMOVAL CREAM that is eventually PERMANENT and they include in the kit a special pen size item for removal of facial hair and special creams etc. This cream can be used on any part of the body too. This KIT is very inexpensive and last a LONG TIME and you eventually do not need to use the cream ever again because it eventually is PERMANENT and as you use the cream then you only need to use it less and less and less often like once every 3 months and then once every 5-6 months etc. This may be the answer for many or all of you. Check it out on HSN! Thanks again for the honest reviews on the No No!!! LAZER HAIR REMOVAL CREAM KIT by SERIOUS SKIN CARE on HSN – Check it out!
Thank you so much for the comments and reviews on this product. It has been on HSN all day today and I was debating ordering it for my disabled son who will not allow anyone to come near him with clippers. So glad I decided to research the reviews because HSN had no reviews posted. Thank you again for taking the time to help inform others!!
This product is the biggest rip-off. I tried it for about 5 days and was not happy about the results. I called the company and wanted to get a refund. They told me that I had not used it long enough. I waited for about 2 weeks and called again. Again I was told I had not used it long enough. I put it in the box and waited a longer time. I tried to return it again and now they are telling me I waited too long. It is such a rip-off.
don’t west your hard rend mony .it is wire burns the hair it looks you shaved .it is fals advertisement it doesn’t do nothing .the say 60 day mony back guaranties that’s lay the don’t take it back the give you 50$ refund if you keep it ,I-am sorry it is scam .
I want my money back… !!! im so pissed right now… don’t try nono
I am so freakin pissed I didn’t read these reviews before ordering the no! no!. I just received it 2 days ago and haven’t tried it yet. I have very sensitive skin and am scared to try it even if they say its “painless”. After reading these comments I’m not even going to try it, its going back in its box!! I’m willing to pay shipping if its up to $15, because if they say they will only let me return it after 45 days im the type of person to forget about it and not get my money back!
Thank you for all your reviews!!!!
Hi, just to add this doesn’t work on my hair. I’m a black lady and did ask if it’s suitable for my skin before purchase. So, back to IPL treatments for me I’m afraid.
This product does not work. You have to keep going over and over a spot, it’s very time consuming with not much result. I also did not realize when I bought it that it was almost $300.00. I mis read it and thought it was $100.00. I just called the company when I noticed I had been billed 3 months in a row. I told them I would never had ordered something that expensive, and I didn’t like the product anyway. Now it’s just past 60 days. They did offer to credit me $50.00, but won’t take the unit back. They explained that it is a “process” that takes time. They told me to shave first, then use the product! I would not waste my money on this.
DO NOT EVEN THINK OF BUYING THIS!!!!!!
I bought one couple weeks ago, receive it last week then I started using it. I used on my arms, legs and MY FACE. Wherever I used now is bloody red. I can’t even go to work with my bloody red face. I am calling them tomorrow morning to return it.
Right now I just feel I am so stupid to even tried this.
I will post again tomorrow let everyone know what they say about return it within 45 days. And how long should I get my money back!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!!!!

Hi everyone! My boyfriend & I thought about buying a No No for ourselves; however, since reading all of the bad reviews just now I will keep that $300 instead of wasting it on a worthless product. I am very wary about products advertised on tv anyway and these reviews just remind HOW very glad I am that I AM wary. Thanks a lot for all the reviews from everyone! The BBB should be notified as to a defective product being marketed by a scam company — THEN the product might be taken off of the market before anyone else falls prey to this scam. For all of those ‘bitten’ by these false advertisements, contact a consumer protection lawyer as well and sue the company to get your money back.

Thank you for all the reviews – I just saved myself a lot of money
Don’t use No No. It is very time consuming and you have to go over all the areas you want to remove hair more then once. If you turn the no no back before the tryout days are over you have to pay a shipping fee of $14.00 and a little bit of change and no no charges you for the fee that it cost to ship it to you and a processing fee(which is $16.28 all together). It’s not worth it. If you try it out for the whole try period in order to get your full refund if they do give you that back which I doubt you will have payed the whole item off and then will be asking for a refund.

I was very skeptical of the effectiveness of nono and from reading comments I would be better off shaving, veet, epilady or those tiny hand held eyebrow razors THIIS IS CRAZY how many women like to inflict pain rather than return the nono for a refund
Doesn’t the name NONO warrant some rsised eyebrows?! I mean the name is a disclaimer in itself isn’t it?! EYYYYYYYAAAAAAHHHHHYAYYAYYAY
This product is some CRAP !!! Its hasn’t done anything but smell like lasers burning my hairs & all that to see not a single strain of hair is gone. I found this comment link in the process of going to their website to return my No-No. The name says it all…no no to the No-No
doesn’t work! will smell burnt.
plus the battery died.
get a refund.

Thx guys for the honest reviews. Almost spent the money for a wife’s x-mas gift. These reviews really helped me to spend the 300 on gifts that she’ll be happy with!
I bought a no no hair removal system for myself being a man in my mid 40′s and well groomed and a busy working stiff .
Adds all looked great from info on TV
Got around to trying it months later on my busy schedule and used and used it and had my wife us it and it was just another $300 scam .
Tried it everywhere and I think it removed 6-10 hairs in total thinking that my hair was to stiff and hard and now my skin just peels for no reason in those same areas from time to time like a blistering burn peel !
Worst thing I have wasted money on in my life .
Best of all no no only wants to sell you another one and not respond to negative buyers !
It’s all SCAM! It never worked for me. Rather, it increased the rate of growth because whenever I use it, my facial hair grows out the following day x2.
It’s definitely a no-no for me.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I was about to order nono and decided to check if there were any complaints. So happy I did. That many negative comments tells says it all. Will not waste my money. Again thank you.
Thanks for al the honest reviews. Almost bought this item for my wife. I now will not . Tired of all the dishonest advertising from companies trying to scam hardworking individuals
Piece of junk…. Don’t waste your money. I tried on face for 3 months not working. Don’t buy what ever they say is lie lie lie
Truly piece of junk. Don’t buy this and don’t waste your money . Tried for 3 months on small area not working they are not truthful .
It is tough to remove hairs on people who have naturally abundant hair growth in legs, chest, arms and underarms and other visible areas of the skin. However, these unwanted hairs do not pose any health risks, people want to remove excess body hair and facial hair because it may spoil one’s beauty. Click here you can get the details about the hair removal.
I purchased this product about 3 weeks ago. I am 56 and since menopause have noticed an increase in facial hair. Have done electrolysis, plucking and finally snipping off the tough hairs from my chin and lip. I have considered the NONO for at least a year. So, what i have noticed:
It does take time. I got it for my face mostly. I have mostly fine hair, but long and a bit of stiff hairs. I tried it over my face, taking care to roll my lips in and avoiding touching my skin to the wire, as the instructions say!! You are warned. I got my lip once, and that won’t happen again. I was not paying attention. I have found that if i use it 3 times a week, as they recommend, not daily!!! it seems to keep the hair very short. Almost to my skin. Having had problems with it getting the hair when they are long, snipping them made a difference. And the instructions do say what’s the best length for hair to be.
I had problems with the jumping over the uneven contours of my lower face too, and have experimented and found if i push a bit harder on the roller, i have less of this. I think it controls the machine better. I do seem to have more problems with the red light coming on when i do my legs.
This will be continued.
This is continued as my words were too long:
The creme is suppose to work over time to thin the hair, not to take it away over night!! I use this on my face and after it dries, use my usual face creme and i haven’t noticed any problems with my skin, and i have very sensitive skin.
After 3 weeks, i am happy with my face, i don’t care about my legs that much. I use it Monday, Wed. and Friday. On Friday i shave my legs after as i would usually do. I am willing to give it time, lots of time to work there.
If i find that i have problems with the machine and improvements are not what i expect right now, i will repost.
I have the same problem with the level of therapy jumping from one bar to 3, but it didn’t bother my skin, so i would rather use a stronger level.
If it is still working in 6 months, i would consider myself even with the expense as i would have spent that for professional treatments with very little difference from the NONO.
Or so angry you could spit. 98. Giftsforprofessionals.
No-No’s return policy is a farce! I tried the no-no for the 60 days, but decided it just was not impressive enough to warrent spending $300 on. I called and told them I was going to return it. On the phone they were very professional, and gave me return #’s and told me they would be putting a return postage label in the mail. Two months and two phone calls later I still did not recieve a label, even though they said they would mail out another one. I mailed it back to them, and tracked it on Canada Post website, and made it so a signature was required when they recieved it. They recieved it two weeks ago and as of today my Visa still had not been credited. I had to call again just now, and the guy states he credited my Visa, while I was on the phone. I will find out in a couple of days. They hope you will just forget about it and not push to get your money back. This outright unprofessional conduct has stopped me from purchasing their blemish zapper, and I have nothing good to say about them.
I was considering buying this product, but their claim of the product being purchased by 2 million people in 50 countries was so unimpressive I thought I better check it out. I am so glad I did. Thanks for all the reviews.
If you want to make a donation to NoNo then just buy this product…
DO NOT ORDER THE no no HAIR REMOVAL THEY HAVE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT ON THEIR WEBSITE FOR THE COST THEN THEY COME BACK BILLING MORE. THE PRODUCT IS NOT ALL IT IS ADVERTISE TO BE ANYWAY THEN THE HASSEL OF WEBSITE GLINCH ERROR AS THEY CALLED. SAVE THE TIME, HASSEL AND MONEY!!!!DON’T BELEIVE ME CHECH OUT THE COMPLAINTS ON THE BBB WEBSITE.UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER
I love how every comment is a negative one. Either it’s being powered by spam or their product is crap. I don’t get how so though. I don’t see how they can finance over night deliveries, a call centre, or even business for that matter.
There is a huge marketing campaign and I guess they persuade enough customers to hang onto these things that at such a high price that they pay for the ones which are returned. They are not all negative comments here, I’ve read a couple of positive comments here which almost looked as if they were from Nono reps. I was considering buying one of these for the wife but the TV ad looked almost too good to be true so decided to do some research first. After looking at a couple of web sites who praised Nono to a degree which made it obvious they had some financial interest, I found this site and thank everyone for their honest comments. Don’t think I’ll be buying one of these.
Don’t be fooled with the No No, it dosnt work, you might as well put a lighter to the unwanted hair because No No just sindges it. You skin is left spotty and itchy.
When you speak to customer service, you realise you are never getting your money back, it is all a scam, which fills you with false hope.
What a waste of money and time .!
The no! no! is a rip off! My mom got me one for Christmas and all it’s done has burned my face, taking off skin instead of hair. The ads on TV made it look like a great product, but in reality, it’s nothing like the ads show. It has a little wheel on it that you roll across the area you want to remote hair from. The rolling of wheel is what make it work…or not! It just goes on and off, glancing right over the hair, but burning your skin. Don’t waste your money on this piece of junk!
I purchased No No Hair Removal a few years ago as I wanted to eliminate the unwanted hair on my face. After reading the instructions, it recommended not to use this product on the face! I tried this product for a few months both on my face, underarm
& my legs and the hair did not stop growing as claimed thru advertisement. I did not see any difference and unlike shavers, the product scratched & irritated the skin and this was worse on sensitive parts of the body, ie: face. In summary, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, IT DOES NOT WORK!
After reading these reviews, it seems to me that the morality of our culture has degraded significantly. When all the the people involved in the company, from the actors in commercial to the owners in companies to the production people making the product and finally the customer service people simply going on with the lie. It’s pretty disturbing.
As I understand it from my daughter it’s just a different way of shaving. I’m thinking just get a lighter lol
please people save your money.this product does not work i use it 3 times a week i still have my facial hair. its all fake so do not buy the No,No save your money.
I just got off the phone with a representiive for No No’s, what a disrespective man. I am on a fixed income and over 60, I’m tired of using tweezers! When I found out the final cost including replacement
tips, after 4 months, I knew I could NOT afford this! He was calling me
by my first name right off the bat, I do not expect a stranger to do that.
And when I told him he did it again, I also told him I could not afford it,
payments or not. He keep on and on, finally I hung up. These productsmay work, but the normal person can”t afford it!
Thanks for all your info. I never order from info mercials. I only considered this one because it was endorsed by a local radio host. It sounds like, if she used it, and it worked for her, she’s the only one that has had possitive success from this product. Receiving kick backs from products sold, is probably closer to the truth. What happened to truth in advertising?
Why can’t No No company give a parts list . So can can buy parts for it. Such as a roller
If you want results… Follow directions! Stretch out your skin so it is taut. Use 2-3 times a week (or everyday, rotating location of use). Give six months to see best results. Usd the buffers to treat the stubble left behind. I’ve had mine for only a week, and I love it!!!! No it doesn’t miraculously remove all hair instantly, but it DOES work. I have PCOS and excessive coarse black hair from head to toe… And I am already seeing some satisfying results. Also the lotions it comes with smell fantastic, and my cystic acne is virtually gone already.
I had great hopes that the No No would save my face. It didn’t.
My hairs are like thick wires. My stubble scratches better than sandpaper. But I have sensitive skin. So, shaving with either a blade or an electric is always torture for me.
I got the No No hoping it would be the answer. I ran it over the same patch of hair at least ten times. It got to where it was burning my skin but doing NOTHING for my hair. Obviously, they just never had any test subjects with the hair and skin combo like mine.
When I called to return the product. They just didn’t believe that I was indeed using the product correctly. But when I went through step by painful step of everything I was doing, they were finally convinced and gave me return shipping info.
The problem then was that they wouldn’t refund my return shipping. I understand that this is not normally done, but I was told that if I paid for it all at once instead of installments, they would add that to the deal. But they said that was only if I had it for 45 to 50 days which would be long enough for me to see the long term results.
I can understand it if it was doing SOMEthing and I just needed to see how much more it did over time. But when we see NO results and it simply doesn’t work at all then it doesn’t make sense.
The scheme is apparently to delay my shipping long enough for me to forget about returning it until after the trial period. Then I can’t return it at all. If I tried for the 45 days, their trick would probably work. I’d forget about it. So, I have to return it now.
I guess I’m going to be out about $10 for shipping. What a waste.
i purchased the No No 2 months ago and NO it didn’t work for me. I tried it on my arms, but didn’t notice any changes. I wish I would of read these reviews before I was quick to purchase this devise. It doen’t work! I’m so very pissed I got suckered out of 300$!
No No doesn’t work so don’t waste your $ on this devise!!!
A thank you to everyone who has left feedback on this site. I saw this being advertised on TVSN last night. Being dubious about buying products without actually seeing them I thought I would do some research first. Seeing an almost all negative feedback I will not be buying this product. It is such a shame to see that financial gain plays a major role when marketing products. Thank you again to everyone and I do sincerely hope that you all get your money back.
Bought this to deal with some unwanted hair growth, Became sceptical after reading loads of bad reviews and kicked myself at having not thought to look for reviews before paying out. However, can honestly say I am really pleased with the very noticeable results inside a couple of weeks. If your looking for a clean finish like shaving then walk away this isnt a product for you. If your looking for a reduction in the amount of hair and regrowth then used properly this could well be the answer for you. I am very happy with the product and would highly recommend it
Just received mine today. Fully charged and off we go but I don’t appear to be a very good glider – any tips anyone.
Also, I guess I’m going to have to wax one last time to get to the stubble length because it’s not really doing anything to the longer hairs.
Alarmed to read these reviews – hope to report back with better results soon.
I got mine for Christmas. It didn’t seem to work right….kept jumping all the time. But the company quickly replaced it. I think it was partly a bad unit and partly me not knowing how to use it….the videos and instructions aren’t very good. But I got the hang of it and I am pretty pleased. I had a lot of facial hair and waxing was getting old! I have been using it regularly for about a month and there are many places where i have no regrowth. Other areas are taking longer. It definitely doesn’t work in the manner shown in the video where they go over some sideburns and the hair is gone. You first have to get used to how it works and you may have to go over the area a few times, several times a week. But it does seem to be working over time. Patience is the key. Watch out though…it sometimes seems to jump and GRAB a hair and this can cause a small burn although I wouldn’t call it painful. I notice that on longer hair it doesn’t seem to work as well. Maybe you should shave first and wait for short regrowth….don’t know, but I am going to experiment. I am concentrating on the facial right now and will tackle the longer leg hair after I get the hang of this! But in my case the facial hair is much better than before!
Thanks for the feedback, I was debating with myself on buying the No! No! Hair remover, but then I saw on the box that pregnant women shouldn’t be using this product. This made me wonder, that is must be harmful since pregnant people shouldn’t use it… Then I read the comment threads below me and think to myself; “this is The Mighty JumpStarter all over again.”. Because it seemed to good to be true, and when the day came, it didn’t work on my car… Then I saw the infomercial about No! No! I got really happy, but after the pregnant women warning and other detailed warnings, and after these comments, the hopes got down… Ahhhh wellllll. I guess I’ll stick to my old method…
no!no! is a terrible product with a great marketing scheme. All they are out to get is your hard earned dollars and you get NOTHING in return. I didn’t think it burned me, I was not aware of excess heat at the time of using it, however the next morning I had a sensation like rope burn on my legs and it was incredibly painful. Well, my daughter wanted one and so I gave it to her with the caution of what might happen. She does not have the burn, but it has not damaged a single hair on her body up to this point. A really lousy product. I was ripped off!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HAIR REMOVAL KIT> IT HAS NO VALUE> IT WILL NOT DO WHAT THEY CLAIM>
the NONO is not a permanent hair removal process. I used it for 10 weeks, it burned hair off to a stubble, the hair grew back, some of it darker than before and more wirery/coarse than before. I also used it on my guy, his hair grew back thicker and darker, he is blonde, so that was not the outcome we were looking for. It doesn’t hurt unless you get too close to your lips, but hey, isn’t that the area we are looking to treat most often anyway? Now I really have to see laser hair removal because I got a beard coming in..thanks to the Nono. I would not waste my time and money on the Nono, spend a little more and buy a Tria or Flash N Go.
don’t waste your time….buy a Tria or Flash N Go…the NONO is a total waste of time…dries out your skin really bad, the hair comes back darker than before…it’s a joke!!!
WAS THINKING ABOUT BUYING THE NONO BUT AFTER READING ALL THE COMMENTS ABOUT IT IM NOT GOING TO . THANKS ALL
Bought NO NO in December 2012, Did not work well and i saw no difference between shaving and NO NO! Going back to waxing that has worked the best!!!
I was so suckered in….bought three of them, one for me, one for hubby, and one for daughter. I’m out $600.00 bucks and it does not work….not at all…… IT IS TRULY A NO-NO as : DONT PURCHASE IT!!!!!
If you look at the file on Radiancy from the Better Business Bureau, there are a lot of complaints, most are closed because the customer gave up on having resolution before resolution was reached. Those of you who have bought the product and are dissatisfied, FILE a COMPLAINT with the Better Business Bureau. You have a good chance of getting your money back!
“I guess all I really have to say is that I think this product, if used right, really deserves a chance.”
this is the point.
My gf tried it a week or two ago and didnt think it worked great.
However i read the inctrutions with her and you need to use it properly and you need to exfoliate!!!
This procut not only worls perfectly on her but also on my seriously think beard.
You have to be patient. You have to use it correctly and you have to exfoliate..
Don’t waste you’re money on this even with the one year warranty. Every time you have a problem with this product, you have to pay for the shipping back; it cost me $10. I have sent it back once already because the battery would not charge; and received a “new” one that’s power button is extremely difficult to turn off and on. When talking to customer service, they stated that they were aware of the problem, yet I would still have to pay for the shipping to have it fixed a second time. If I would have known in advance that this company knew of the technical problems and would still charge me to have it repaired, I would never have invested. The worst part is, the product doesn’t even work well at removing hair in the first place
With havin so much written content do you ever run
into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement? My blog has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any solutions to help prevent content from being stolen? I’d definitely appreciate
it.
I ordered this and found out that it doesn’t work. When I called to return it, I got a little bit of a hassle from them. They said I didn’t do it right and that i should try it a little bit longer. I finally got a return authorization but had to pay the shipping costs for the return. This product is way over rated and too expensive. Finally all I can say, “IT DOES NOT WORK”.
I bought the NONO in august 2012 and used it for a month, it does not work!! I stopped using it. I recently decided to give it another try, but it has stopped working. It no longer has the thermicon tip indicator and the blue light doesn’t come on any at all. I have tried calling customer care but that number never gets answered, and no one from NONO has found it necessary to answer my emails. I will not be encouraging anyone to buy this product.
I have PCOS, and it messes with your hormones. I have been so embarrassed about my facial hair. I was so nervous to try it. I love it! For the first time, I am not embarrassed. It works wonders!!!
Thanks to all ppl who took the one o comment I wanted to buy one but find it expensive to buy without knowing wether I worked
Thank to the revises I will keep my money
I will not be buying no no
I have been interesxted in looking into the NO NO but now seeing as how everyone s bashing it I will not be trying it. Im glad I got to read reviews and see what customers thought. The NoNo is a big no no from what I have read so far. Best of wishes for the ones that got scammed, are hairy and red. I will be sure to stay clear of this product.
This product is horrible. It never fully removed the hair and it would grow back the next day! Worse than razor stubble. When I returned it, I have had to call 4 times to get a full refund and I am still waiting! That was over 2 months ago!
I bought this as a christmas gift for my daughter. Sadly, by the time she started using it the guarantee had run out.It is USELESS at removing hair-even the finest growth. It will, however, burn you. I wish I’d spent the money on a holiday(or read this review site first!) Don’t waste your money, PLEASE.
Bought this and found it to be waste of money. Did not remove my hair like the nice infomercials show. Tried it on legs and upper lip. very hard to even manuever it around lip area without getting lip and did not remove it well. When tried on my legs just smelled like aweful burnt hair and then looked and most hair was still there. Am returning it – do not waste your money,
Tried it for a couple weeks, different areas on the body, plain and simple ………. it sucks. Didn’t remove a single hair.
bad product.
fake advertisement.
in order to get refund for their used product you have to make complete payment and the shipping will not be refunded unless you use the product for the 60 days and you have 5 days to return. you must not use the $100 which is worth nothing if you go to store and shop.
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM
Thanks to everyone who posted on this site about No!No! I can’t believe that they would charge some of you $300 and then further attempt to rip you off by not refunding, giving a hard time about refunding, etc. and then only give you 5 days to ship.
Sounds like you guys should all get together and do a class action suit for false advertising.
Who knows? Maybe there is one already in the works. So grateful for forums, and will check them every time cause of this product.
It’s so deceiving the way they advertise, cause they make it look so good!! Thanks again.
I’ve had my NONO for nearly a year. I agree it doesn’t work too well on facial hair but it works wonders on my arms. I think it’s just to do with different types of hair. I like it because I can control when I remove hair, don’t need to book an appointment with the beauticians. I’m persisting with the facial hair and remain ever hopeful!
Thanks to all for your comments. As others I see here, I was intrigued by the commercial and was thinking of purchasing it. Luckily I checked here first. I figured it was too good to be true, but was hoping, nonetheless. Thanks for letting me know that it is just another cheap gadget that doesn’t work.
I am not biased and actually wanted this thing to work. I have a lot of hair to get rid of. Tried it for two days on a chest and belly and quit. Very disappointed. Since I am a design engineer here are some non-emotional reasons:
- My body hair was at different length under 1 cm. First day Nono trimmed only about 70% of it leaving the stubs of different length- from 2mm to 10mm. About 30% of hair was not cut at all even after 10 passes! Burning hair smell was terrible. You’d need to change your close and shower after the procedure. Don’t even think doing this at home. Need to be outside or in well-ventilated room. Taking this thing on a trip is a joke. The hotel will hate and evacuate you.
- I’ve repeated the treatment of the same area on a second day. Same result. Perhaps trimmed 20% more. Stubs are the same length- all over the place. Very unpleasant feeling on a touch even after polishing with nono’s sponge.
- The nono recommends to start the procedure on 3mm long hair . How can you do that? Use a clipper or shave and wait for 2 weeks?
- Remember, you’ll loose your shipping if returned before 45 days. Full refund only between 45-60 days.
- And the biggest thing: I don’t believe it may slow the hair growth or remove it. The follicles remain untouched and undamaged. The wire just burns the hair really high to avoid skin damage. You also have to move Nono pretty fast otherwise the protection pops the tip up. You can’t go slow. There is no scientific proof behind this concept and no result. Nono is going back.
I bought a nono and after 3 wks could get nothing better than stubble on my legs and little difference on my lips and chin. I rang to send it back but was encouraged to keep trying which I did and it did seem to get better but never smooth. I missed the 60 day deadline to return it as I hoped it would continue to improve – it hasn’t. Now the tips need replacing as they only last 4 months – something conveniently missed out of the sales data. What with having to spend £20 for a set of 3 tips of one size per year (total £40 for both) this has become a very expensive mistake. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Received the NO NO at the end of Feb. 2013. The first time using this product left me with burn and scraps on my upper lip (used the small attachment as suggested). I felt maybe I was doing somethingh wrong and I asked my daughter to try, she handed it back to me and said it hurts and I would rather Wax than use that thing “SEND IT BACK”. So it went UPS back to the the address Shanel stated to send it back to in GA. So I would suggest NO NO to the NO NO. If someone would rather be waxed than use this product, that should speak for itself.
I DO NOT recommend the product or the company. I tried to take them up on their 60 day money back guarantee and they will not take the product back or refund me. What options do I have, I can’t afford to be out $300!
I bought my no no two yrs ago, used for,six wks like it said, then one time a mo, for 2 or 3 mos,am now down to using it once every 3 or 4 mos,I love,it get a little fuzz about every 4 mos,I am delighted with it,I do have one or two gray hairs I pluck but going over then has just about killed them, thank you soo much, nair was really messing me up,I love my no no and would buy another one,it’s great
I was recommended this website by my cousin. I am not sure whether this post
is written by him as no one else know such detailed about my problem.
You are wonderful! Thanks!
Bought the No! No! -2/3/13 – I wanted to use it primarily on my upper lip, It doesn’t work. Used it for 2 weeks, didn’t like the DAILY STUBBLE it left Sent it back today.
It is only half the machine it says it is. I have had it since Aug, 2012.
I use it 2 to 3 times per week on my face. I can smell hair burn . That is fuzzy hair. The dark , corse hairs I was hoping would disapear in a few months never disappeared and if anything got worse. I have to pluck them out 2 times per week. Now I do 2 things to rid myself of facial hair. disappointed
This product and company is a SCAM. They ripped me off for over $300 and refused to do anything to rectify the situation. I have reported them to the BBB and the Attorny General’s office. Shame on NO NO for ripping off single mothers!
This product is a scam….do not waste your money.
I bought the NONO You probably we Not told that the parts must all line up with the nono name You also have to use the cream I love my NONO does Not hurt at all.
I hope that you are going to be elaborating a little more on this topic. I would like a little more information.
I tried Hair No No consistently for 45 days and NOTHING! I tried it on thicker hair, fine hair, shorter and longer hair – there is NO NO way this product works!
They say they have a money back guarantee which is BS- I called (within the 60 days) and told them I want to return it. They said they would not refund my money so I asked to speak to a manager. They put me on hold for ages, they did everything in their power to not let me speak to a manager, they disconnected the call and when I called back fuming, they told me a manager would call me back in 3-5 days. It never happened…same series of actions over and over until finally they told me no refunds.
I am digusted by a company that does not provide customer service and practices such shady avoidance tactics! Thay should be a ashamed of their business practices!
Thank for the info . when it sounds to good to be true you know the rest
i just called an the guy on the phone wouldnt give me a price at all kept saying how good it was , i got so frustrated that i decided to to do reasurch an found this forum an im so happy i did thanks for letting us all no no before some of us spent our hard earned money on this crappy product
I bought no no and it arrive today, the thing does not work and I am pissed off, I am about to call the company to refund my money or send me a new one
EVERYONE….SAVE YOUR MONEY.Does not work.Tried shaving hair and letting grow back to stubble length that they say is better for removal….still does not work. Have to go over and over and over and so on the same area before i even smell burning and sometimes i don’t even have that. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY IS ALL I CAN SAY. I called the customer service today to let them know how useless their product is. I bought the unit about 9 months ago so he used that saying that the tips lose their whatever after 3 months and should be replaced even if never used. What horse s__t. That means all tips should be replaced as soon as you get your product because they could have been sitting around for in stock months . What a laugh. I didn’t get around to using my unit for a few months after i bought it. Now i wish i had acted upon it as soon as i got it so i could have returned it with in within the 60 days. I’m a procrastinator by nature but i must try to change my ways if i want to be able to return bad products. lol. I sent a couple of emails over the months when i thought about it and never got an answer.. If it sounds to good to be true then it usually is so we should all be aware . This is an expensive unit !!! It should work as they say it should…DON’T BUY !!!!!!!!…Dsgruntled NoNo purchaser. V. H .Ontario canada.
I agree with everybody it doesn’t get the hair like it is supposed to I rather use a razor and get cut im going to return it and I better get my money back the product isn’t worth the money
THANKS TO ALL. I WAS COMTEMPLATING BUYING THE NONO……..EVEN AT THE SHOPPING CHANNEL IN TORONTO THEY HAVE A SIMILAR SYSTEM CALLED TANDA ME AND THE REVIEWS ARE SIMILAR SO I WILL NOT BUY, NOT ANYMORE WILL CONTINUE GOOD OLD SHAVING AND HAS I AM GETTING OLDER I NOTICED MUCH LESS HAIR GROWIN ANYWAY ONE GOOD THING ABOUT AGING AND BEFORE GOING ON VAC WILL GO TO WAXING. THAT IS ALL. WILL KEEP MY PENSION’S MONEY. THANKS AGAIN. MB
I wonder if thi is the same concept as the Epi-lady from the 1980′s? If so, I would suggest just plucking the hairs out one at a time with a treezer. I had one of the Epi-lady torture devices that my ex-husband got me for Mother’s Day (yes, he was a really thoughtful guy) (sarcasm). I guess I will just have to resort to the old tried and true razor. My grandmother who never shaved in her life somehow was blessed with having no hair growth on her legs and underarms that I ever saw. She said that what she had was very light and sparce. Too bad I didn’t inherit that gene.
The Australian tv infomercial kept repeating that in the ‘clinical trial’, one person got ‘up to 94% hair reduction’. THAT’S ONE PERSON in their whole trial! They said you too can expect results of ‘up to 94% hair reduction’. Yes folks, that literally means any where from ZERO hair reduction to 94% hair reduction. They failed to state that the person may have only tested a small hair patch on some part of their face or body but didn’t state over how long this reduction was tested for to ensure hair growth was permanently reduced and not just in a state of rest before regrowth. They also state in very small writing at the bottom of the screen that the average hair reduction (not hair loss) is 37%. I thought this figure was pretty low for the price you are paying, for simple hair ‘reduction’ and not hair loss. For $375 (what they were charging) you could get a round of laser treatment or loads of electroysis for possible better results. However if you know about the stages of hair follicles growth and rests periods you will find that naturally you will have ‘hair reduction’ of 37% at any one time so their claims are not very good. And how they think toasting hair on the surface will somehow transfer down a hair shaft and disable the follicle there is no evidence of that, I have had loads of laser and know even laser heat which is much hotter than the NoNo burning surface wire does not always disable the follicle for long. Also, I noticed when the model was doing the demo on her legs live on tv, the camera always quickly moved to another scene when she was about to hit long hair, as the devise was not removing the hair. She was simply going over and over the same patch of leg which had been shaved prior to coming on the show.
After reading about how great this no no is; I ordered 3 off (1 for me, 1 for may husband and 1 for my teenage daughter). After reading all your complaints, I immediately cancelled the order. Thanks a lot for all your comments on the product, you have saved some of us the heartache.
NOooooooooooooooo. for NO!NO! Everything about this company is totaling misleading. Only removes peach fuzz at best. Will not remove any coarse hair. Will not replace shaving. This company is also very misleading when it comes to the price. When I purchased this product back in March of 2012 I understood the price was $104.89 including shipping and handling, evidently along with a few other people, as seen from these complaints. Almost a year later they are telling me that I owe them an additional 179.91 Please don’t waste your money and also please report your complaints to the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission or better yet lets all start a class action lawsuit. Let’s put a stop to this company’s false advertising and misleading, deceptive, practice
I have had my no no for over two years and it’s sitting on my dresser, collecting dust. This product doesn’t work on coarse hair at all. I think they should’ve done more research, on blacks with coarse hair particularly, before putting no no on the market. The advertisements are a joke.

No No is not for blacks with coarse hair. They forgot to mention that.

I have had mine since last summer and I really believe the hair on my face has gotten worse since using it. What a waste of money!! I agree with the posting before mine. Let’s start a class action lawsuit!!!

Hi!,
I highly recommend No! No! Hair Removal System to everyone well most of you. As there are many negative and positive comments about No! No!, it’s my guess that, the system is not for everyone. It works on me highly effectively.
Used no no and it burnt my lips chin and neck area, even though it was on the lowest heat and held it at. 90 degrees, had to go to the doctors a for cream to treat my burnt skin.the smell of burning hair was one of the worsed smells ever, and on every area it left stubble.sent it straight back. The stubble was disappointing ,as it claims not to leave this, but trust me it does.
It worked,YAY!! I know a lot of U R having problems with it but I have been using it on upper lip chin and underarms and it has been working . I starting using it 2x a week and forgot to use it for a couple months and just started up agin 3x a week and my lip and chin feel baby bottom smooth I have no stubble. It seems it works on some and some it doesn’t. Your best bet is to buy off hsn because you can definitely get your money back from them but it seems the actual company is impossible , like pulling teeth. Just make sure u know the return policy of hsn. When you do use it make sure u do t right and use the buffing pad after and a little of the lotion to sooty your skin. I still don’t know how long it lasts but I hated getting waxed and shaving makes me itchy and stubbly.
I am so disappointed, I have only had it a couple of weeks, it does not seem to get rid of any hair, but I do have burns from it, and I seem to swell even if I only go over the spot once or twice, I will be returning it, so wish me luck, glad I put it on my Visa which will cover me if they don’t!
I’m at a loss to understand why you are all getting scratches and burns – I don’t feel anything. It’s true that it leaves my legs stubbly, you have to use it regularly for gradual improvement over a couple of months – I keep forgetting to so still have stubble.
No NO is a crap…..This stuff does not work after 1 year warranty….their policy is stink ….this just a waste of money ….they should get out of business..
NEVER BUY ANYTHING ON LINE. Most of these scam companies want you to buy one thing for a small amount, then give you free stuff and charge you shipping, processing and handling. Therefore, the customer can only return the original product, which is 20% or less on the total bill.
I would suggest you buy things only in stores. that was you can return it there, if it doesn’t work.
We absolutely love your blog and find almost all of your post’s to be just what I’m looking for.
Would you offer guest writers to write content available for you?
I wouldn’t mind producing a post or elaborating on most of the subjects you write concerning here. Again, awesome web site!
I have had WONDERFUL results with no-no!!
No burns, scratches, or any discomfort.
I believe others are using it wrong, or illiterate and can’t read or understand the directions.
It was well worth the $275!!!!
Admiring the commitment you put into your website
and detailed information you offer. It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same unwanted rehashed material.
Great read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including
your RSS feeds to my Google account.
this has been the worst $ 300.00 I have ever spent, nothing they claim is
true. I have to stand and literally rub my face over and over and that causes tenderness, it still will only remove fine fuzz and no hair. what hair it may remove comes back with a vengance. I wish I could tell you it works
because that’s why I bought it for facial hair but my solemn promise to you is… IT DOES NOT. and they try and make it simple to return but that’s
a false also, it is a switch here and a switch there until I decided to chalk it up as scamed once again. Mrs. Brashears
My Comment is do not waste your money on this product. You had a 60 day return policy, but when I called they said you have to use it for 6 month to get results. I have used it for 5 months and have not seen any change in my hair removal. I am so disappointed in this product. What a waste of $300.00
when i would see the commercials for the NONO i was bummed that i paid to get laser hair removal. after reading a ton of these comments they have made me stoked! i feel like i made the right choice and the cost wasnt overly terrible for the laser hair removal. its not a one and done, it takes i believe like 8 sessions and if you have blonde or white hair no laser can get those due to the lack of pigment the laser cant find it. over all after 4 sessions i see over 75% reduction in hair on the treated area! i cant wait to finish the area i am doing so i can do my legs next! laser hair removal isnt painless but it isnt painful either, it feels like a bunch of rubber bands snapping you. totally worth it however, no more shaving and no ingrown hairs! i recommend people do real laser hair removal!
i got my no no system in February 2013..i have been taking prednisone for over a year and that increase facial hair signicantly..The no no has taken down the length of the hair, but now I have stubble and instead of longer soft hair, I have pricky stubble that is worse and I don’t want anyone to touch my face and yes, I do from time to time get long cat like scratches that are on each side of my face, extending from my chin to the bottom of my eyes and they last for hours, which I was not at all expecting because they appear a day or so after a treatment and it scared me because I didn’t know it was related to this at all and I thought it was some sort of blood poisoning, the problem is what will happen if I stop..with the hair on my face grow longer and thicker? That is why I am afraid to send it back. I may have to go now and get electrolisist, which costs a fortune.
I really do not like this product. I had wanted it for a year and finally got it. The first month I was okay with it, it took forever to do one area but I kept looking at the big picture. Well 4 months later, the big picture still has not been shown. My right armpit has several burn spots that gets irritated when hair grows, when i sweat, when clothing rubs it. At night I have to put a pillow between my side and arm to leave space so my armpit is not closed. I have been searching for a class action law suit aginst this company for a horrible product.
Unhappy in California.
