Looking for Reviews of mē my elos by Syneron

By June 22, 2011

Follow me on:

me my elos, elos hair removal

mē my elos by Syneron is a home hair removal device that combines IPL (intense pulsed light) and RF (radio frequency energy). While very dark skin cannot safely use this device, the combination of IPL and RF allow it to be used on a wide variety of skin and hair tones.

The first four treatments are two weeks apart and then as hair appears. One interesting feature is that there's no stopping on each area to wait for the pulse, you simply run the device over the skin like you would when you shave. The company points out that one full leg can be done in 10 minutes (see how it works).

Currently the mē (compare prices) is not cleared for sale in the United States and I don't know when or if it will be. But I do have readers from other countries and I got an email asking me about this product. If you've tried it or are currently using it, we would love to hear your review and experience with the mē. Please tell us about it in the Hair Removal Forum.

It good to heard another IPL device for hair removal. Currently most people are using Tria and Silk’n, and now this deivce is another choice for us.

I’m interested in this product. I tried Tria, and it didn’t work at all, not to mention the fact that a tiny little area took an hour. Plus, the device stopped working about halfway through the number of treatments it promised, but the manufacturer wouldn’t replace or refund it.

I’m a little gun shy, then, to try something else expensive, but if there are good reviews of this then I think it will be worth it.

Sandy, I had the EXACT same experience you did with the Tria! It stopped working halfway through the treatments, and they would not replace or refund it. Not to mention that it did not work for me at all, despite my Herculean efforts and being a very careful direction follower. And it took forever just to go over one tiny area.

I was pretty deferential when I talked to them the first time, but now that I know that Tria seems to have a pattern of crapping out and then bilking their customers out of compensation for it, I will try to be more demanding of the refund. It will go toward this new thing, which I am very eager to try. At the very least, it seems like it will be easier and faster to use.

My uncle bought the Me My Elos machine for me in June 2011. I live in Canada so I needed to buy a Transformer to convert the electricity as they don’t sell the Elos machines here. I pretty much forgot about the Elos machine and one day while I was doing the big house clean up I ran into the machine. I watched the DVD and I tried it. Just to clarify, I have dark hair and light skin. I am on my 3rd treatment and I can honestly say that my legs and underarms appear to have a lot less hair on them. I would say about 40%. I haven’t completed all the treatments yet as I have one more to go but I completely give this machine a thumbs up. Even if I don’t have the 89% less hair that they claim you would get after 4 treatments, I would still continue to use this machine because you have to catch the hairs when they are at the right cycle. I have extra cartridges. My uncle bought me 7 of them which I think would be more than enough to achieve the results I want. I completely understand that not every single hair will be eliminated but I can honestly say, it is fantastic and to do it in the privacy of your own home is incredible and the best part is, it didn’t hurt at all! It just feels warm on your skin. If my uncle didn’t buy this, I would have even for the price!

I use the silk’n machine and it works great for me! I’ve done about 4 treatments with it and there are patches of hair missing on my legs, so I guess that means its working. Can’t wait to be hair free!!
