Veet Suprem Esssence Gel Cream Pump

I would say to pass on Veet Suprem Essence and stick with the razor. You may have to shave every day, but at least you won’t have to smell that hair removal cream scent or get burned or irritated skin if you’re shaving correctly!

I'm not a big fan of depilatories but I always like to have an open mind when there is a new product out there. I went to my local Target and thought I would give this one a shot. I really liked that it was a pump and the convenient location of the spatula, which was on the side of the bottle.

The Smell Test & Stragglers

I first noticed the scent. Ahh, the same depilatory smell hidden behind a floral tone. Yuck! That smell never seems to go away. After slathering it on per the directions, I had to wait. Wait, wait, and wait. After three minutes, I was able to use the spatula and remove the creamy depilatory and well, the hair was gone but I wasn't that impressed with it. I had some stragglers, but I decided to wait until the following day to get rid of those since it was going to rain anyway.

Dry, dry, dry legs

I guess I expected a moisturized feeling to my legs but I only felt tightness. My legs felt extra dry and a little irritated. I thought I would apply lotion and the feeling would be gone but I was wrong. Yikes, it burned even more.

Re-growth

I waited two days and the hair that was removed was beginning to grow back. Since I have to shave everyday, that was okay but I did not like the feeling I had after using the product.

Another Guinea Pig

I passed Veet Suprem Essence on to a friend to give it a try. She called me and asked if it was supposed to burn while it was on the skin. Uh, no! She couldn't use it. Her skin was way to sensitive. It immediately irritated her legs and she had redness after one minute of the product being on her skin.
