Since becoming an electrologist, she worked to attain licensing for Kansas electrologists, and to promote licensing, certification and professional standards for practitioners in other states.
After joining the American Electrology Association, she attained the credentials of Certified Professional Electrologist, became involved in the Infection Control Standards Committee and currently chairs the committee. Having worked with APIC and CDC in revising the Infection Control Standards for the Practice of Electrology, she was honored to travel to Japan and throughout the U.S. to present the new standards to electrologists.
