Shobha Eyebrow Pencils: Earth & Sand

The eyebrow pencils by Shobha are a priced a little high, but they’re definitely worth it. This company has hit the nail on the head again with a product that has a great texture and lasts all day. How can you not love the convenient built-in sharpener? I’m hooked!

When I got the eyebrow pencils, the orange and blue packaging from Shobha immediately caught my attention. I was very excited to find I had two new colors to play with, one for brunettes (Earth) and the other for blondes (Sand).

Earth goes on Trial

Since I have dark hair, I tried the pencil for brunettes first. I started using light hair strokes and added more color to reach my desired shade. It was perfect for dark hair.

Sand, Maybe Not for Platinum Blondes

Next I tried the pencil for blondes. Surprisingly, it wasn't too light even for my dark hair. I just kept putting on strokes to the shade I needed.

I gave the blonde pencil to a friend of mine to try who has very light blonde hair. Actually her hair is almost platinum. The blonde pencil was a little dark for her brows, so that was a bit disappointing. But all in all it is a good pencil.

Beyond the Color

The texture of the pencil is great. It's not too soft and it definitely not too hard. Like Goldilocks said, "It was just right!"

The water-resistance was really put to the test. It lasted through a hot summer day at the pool in Las Vegas. Need I say more?

Another great feature is that the pencil has its own sharpener hidden in the lid. You never have to dig through your make up bag again for the lost sharpener.
