Guide Review - Brow Buddy Kit by Billion Dollar Brows
A lot women struggle with getting the right brow shape that flatters their face on their own. Often, they turn to eyebrow stencils for shaping, thinking its fool-proof. But thats not the way to go because one size doesnt fit all, there's no room for customizing. So when I received my Brow Buddy kit (in a very cute mesh bag) I was very curious to see how this tool was going to work. I watched the instructional DVD and got started.
I was shocked on how easy it was to use. So many times you can buy things so you can do the do-it-yourself version, and you end up frustrated going through a million steps, or it ends up being a total waste of money. Not with this kit.
The eyebrow template tool helps you find where you brows should start, end and arch. As you find each of these spots (see video) you mark it with the white pencil provided and then play dot-to-dot. You should tweeze the hairs outside the lines. For those who prefer a higher arch, you can go a bit deeper into the white area on your bottom line.
Well, I dont tweeze unless its to clean up hairs after a waxing, I consider that way too long of a chore. I waxed them and they turned out beautiful! Usually my brows come out well and I don't have any problems, (as I do know a thing or two about eyebrow shaping) but it does take me longer to get there. This was simple, easy and quick getting the right shape.
I had to tweeze more hairs than usual after waxing because the wax didnt adhere as well as it should have with the foreign invader of the white pencil on my skin. But if you tweeze, then you dont need to worry. And if you do wax, the extra work of cleaning up some stray hairs is worth a better brow shape.
