After my second treatment, I only cut out using Silk’n on the upper half of my legs so I could make the cartridge last longer. HomeSkinovations, the maker of Silk’n also sent me a third cartridge, but I haven’t had to use it yet.
And the Results Are...
I’ve used Silk’n for a total of four times, two weeks apart. I’m very impressed with my results! So far, my eyeball estimate would be a 60% hair reduction in my underarms and about 75% on my legs (the bottom half that received all four treatments). Most of the hair is gone, but there is some hair making up that group that has grown back lighter and finer.Underarm hair really is, well, the pits. My hair is dark, so the day after shaving I would start to see a shadow. Well, not anymore. Since the hair has been reduced so much, there’s no shadow and you can’t see the hair from afar, even going days without shaving. Less shaving means fewer ingrown hairs, not as much irritation, less time in the shower and use of my razor.
Less leg hair has also been really nice. Even if I skip a couple days of shaving, the skin is still soft, and the hair is so much less noticeable.
