Guide Review - Remington MPT 3500 Precision Personal Trimmer

I saw this at my local Best Buy and thought it was pretty cool. I left it on the shelf and didn't think anything of it. Then a couple of weeks ago, my husband and I were in the car and he was complaining that his nose hair and ear hair was out of control!

Well, my husband is only in his early thirties but he is very self-conscious about wild hair. So I stopped at Best Buy and purchased the Remington MPT 3500 Precision Personal Trimmer. It was inexpensive and I didn't need to buy extra batteries.

Mission: Nose Hair Removal

We opened it up in the car and he began with the rogue nose hairs that were peeking out from edge of his nose. He used the precision trimmer for that but was a little disappointed that it did not have the traditional round head to get up in your nose.

Let's Try the Ears

The then used it on his ears. He said it was light, easy to use and he had no problem doing the job himself. He decided since the best place to see those rogue hair was in the car, that's where he would leave it. It fit nicely in the glove compartment and since it was battery operated, it didn't need to be plugged in.

Leave It in the Car

About an hour later, I was driving the family to the in-laws' house. Robert, my husband, pulled out the trimmer and used the fine detail trimmer and trimmed up his sideburns and goatee. He loved that he could take care of the things that he only really thought about in the car right away.

horrible product, Member jfcoliver1

I purchased the lady's version of this trimmer. It worked one time and died. I took it back to Walgreens, they let me exchange it for the ""male trimmer"". It was $1 more but I thought it might work better.I used it one time and it wouldn't work again. I contacted Remington who gave me the phone number of their Warranty Dept. The gal there was no help at all. I asked her if they've had other complaints on this product and she admitted that they have problems with them not working. She said it was due to batteries not working in them (the product even comes with a battery) and it still doesn't work. No more Remington products for me and my family. They are aware of a problem and don't care to make it right with the customer...
