I left this one up to my husband to try first. He's not only hairy, but has coarse hair and has to shave on a daily basis. It sparks his interest when there's a short cut to shaving. So I set him up with the kit.
Soaking the Razor
First, I placed the lubricating liquid in the storage container and placed the razor inside. The lubricating liquid is to keep the razor from getting rust on it causing it to become dull. He took over from there. I watched as he used the shaving solution on his face to cover his beard. There was no scent at all, just an oil to help the razor glide.The Waterless Shave: Face & Arms
He pulled out the razor from the liquid and began shaving. The hardest thing for him was to keep from rinsing the blades between each pass as he usually does. He shaved his entire face without rinsing the blade- impressive, to say the least. He moved on to his arms. He completed both of his arms and the razor never plugged up with hair. The only thing that was left was sheen from the oil. After he was finished he rinsed the razor, dried it off and returned it to the storage container."I've Gotta Try This"
But, I wanted in on the fun. I placed my razor into the lubricating liquid and decided to shave my arms. I waited for a couple of hours before starting and I noticed that the moisture strip on my razor was swollen and kind of gooey. Ultimately the product did the job, but I could not get over the moisture strip on the razor being five times the size it should have been. I didn't like the feeling of it. Although I think I would pass on this, my husband swears by it. He's been using it every day for the past three weeks and is still shaving with the same disposable razor.
