I jumped in the shower and squeezed a bit of the gel in my hand. The gel is a beautiful blue hue that glistened like the clear waters of the Caribbean. Since it was the first time I tried it, I used a bit too much. But, I slathered it on both my legs. The scent was not great, but it was tolerable. I reached up to get my trusty razor and realized that the gel had stayed put. There was no slipping and sliding for this creation. The gel stayed exactly where I put it and with a simple pass of the razor, Viola, a clean, frictionless and close shave that was moisturizing and refreshing all at the same time.
I was so excited about the way the gel felt with every pass of the blades that I was finished with both legs in no time. Then, I became very disappointed. My legs were completely smooth and felt so good, that I was sad, for just a second because I wanted to keep going. The gel made it so easy and pain free that I grabbed my bottle took another dollop and smoothed it onto my arms! I examined my arms after every swipe of the razor. The blue hue was not that dark, so I didn’t really see it on my olive skin, which was unfortunate, but not a deal breaker.
I had no irritation when I was finished. My skin felt soft and silky. I enjoyed being able to see how much of the product I was using and when I would need to refill. There’s nothing worse than going to use the shaving gel pump and being spit on by the remnants of the canister. So this was definitely a plus for me.
After a while of thinking, I found a guinea pig that has fair skin. She tried the gel on her skin, and sure enough, the blue hue showed up. This made a big difference in her shaving technique.
