Relax and Wax No Trauma Momma

Relax and Wax No Trauma Momma is kept close for my waxing clients because they love how it works and feels. Even if you don’t wax, tweeze, sugar or thread your hair, you can use it for sunburns and burns in your kitchen. A well rounded product that isn’t too expensive.

I actually received No Trauma Momma as part of Relax and Wax's Waxing Survival Kit. I had never heard of the brand and was a bit skeptical. I jumped on the company's website and read that this product helps calm the skin after waxing, chemical peels and laser treatments.

I asked a couple of clients if we could use the product on them after their services and they agreed.

Will It Work on a Bikini Wax?

First, Jennifer was in for a bikini wax. She was used to her regular waxing and did not have a problem with ingrown hair but she did have the redness, which is common, for about a day following her treatment. I used it on the areas that were waxed and Jennifer said about three hours later, she noticed the redness was gone and she didn't have any irritation.

This was a first for her. She swears up and down that the product definitely worked. So three weeks later, we tried it again. This time we thought we would only put the product on one side of her bikini line after her service and see what would happen.

She called me about four hours later and said one side of her bikini line was perfect, but the other was still red and a little irritated to the touch!

What About after Microdermabrasion?

I had to try this one myself and used it after a microdermabrasion session. I have the tendency to turn beet red after microdermabrasion. So if this works, it would be great.

I noticed that the product is a refreshing, clean scent, like tea tree oil. It's not greasy and not too thick. Relax and Wax No Trauma Momma goes on easy and did seem to calm my face. It felt clean and light. In a few minutes, I noticed my skin was not red and it felt very moisturized.
